Didn't get a warm welcome... but I did attend on a Thursday. Maybe Sunday would be different. Unfortunately Father wouldn't allow the Eucharistic on the tongue... which I'm not a fan of, but will accept due to possible covid fears. But... please ...just announce that you're not permitting it on the tongue beforehand. I, as well as others, were informed AS WE CAME TO RECIEVE. Why not simply take 10 seconds just prior to Holy communion to announce that it's only going to be given in the hand?! Very awkward. I know I heard Father explain it about 4-5 more times during communion. Also... just a wee bit too much singing during mass for my liking. And I like singing but not every single response.
