This is a real gunsmith. A father and son ran business, excellent customer service and absolutely the best gunsmith in central pa. I would have given 5 stars but they are so backed up with work they haven't taken on new work in almost 2 years. But you can't blame then for that since they are the only real gunsmiths around

I went to the shop because it had good reviews from other people and with my experience I can see why. I met one of the guys that runs the shop JC and he was extremely friendly and professional. I explained to him my situation and he was able to help me out right there on the spot. He was able to repair something for me in about 5 minutes. When he was finished I asked him what I owed and he said don't worry about it. I had never been to this shop before and I feel other places would have possibly taken advantage of me and or I would have had to schedule an appointment. If you are reading this review don't expect to have something done for you at no cost and also don't expect to have the work done on the spot I just got lucky and my fix was very minor. However, when rating my experience with the person at the shop, as mentioned earlier he was great. The shop setting was also very presentable and he even had a little doberman puppy that I was able to meet. Being a doberman owner myself I really enjoyed the dog. With my experience I would recommend Superior Gunsmithing to anybody and if I ever need something fixed again I will be sure to go back to Superior Gunsmithing. I will also keep them in mind for transfers if I purchase a weapon online as the shop does transfers as well as Gunsmithing work. Thanks JC!

You will not find a better establishment!! JC and his father Dennis are extremly knowledgeable about their craft and their focus on customer service is second to none. I know that when I make a purchase from Superior Gunsmithing I will be able to make the most informed decision I can possibly make because JC and Dennis will have taken the time to make sure I have all the resources needed so that I can make my best decision. I have never had to question the business ethics or morality of JC and Dennis they genuinely care about their customers and the customers needs. If you have not heard yet Superior Gunsmithing also has the best prices around and if you are looking to make a purchase and they dont have a specific item or items in stock they can order them and have them ready for pick up in relatively short order. I'am extremely thankful to have such a great business nearby to me with two great guys.
