I had the most amazing experience finding my dress at Astraea! It was my first time trying on dresses and Laura made the experience so easy. I ended up falling in love with the first dress I tried on, but I kept trying things on just to make sure I knew what I wanted. Laura was very patient with me as I tried on dress after dress and ultimately put the first one back on. Then she found me a beautiful hair clip made by a local artist that matched my dress AND made me an appointment with the town seamstress for my alterations. I couldn't recommend this beautiful local shop more.

I was in a panic trying to find a wedding dress after an unfortunate online shopping experience as my wedding is in 6 weeks. I called Astraea Bridal and Laura was so reassuring that she would be able to help me find something in my teeny-tiny budget. Due to me living out of the county, she first suggested I try another shop, and then if I didn’t find anything there, she would follow up with me to get me booked with her. That following day, she sent me a text and asked how it went at the other bridal shop, and I told her I wanted to book with her. I wanted to see what they had in their shop as I wasn’t set on any from the other shop, and due to her amazing customer service before even stepping foot in their shop, I had a good feeling it was going to be a positive experience. Astraea Bridal did not disappoint. The shop is beautifully decorated, clean, and organized. They were very, very respectful of my budget. During my appointment I felt like Laura was in tune with my needs and focused on caring for me and finding me a dress; I didn’t feel like her attention was elsewhere. Both Laura and Leslie stayed over an hour after they closed on a Saturday evening so I could find my dress. The experience could not have gone any better. They were amazing, and I would recommend them to anyone. Don’t shy away from consignment, even if you’re not on a tight budget - their dress selection is high quality and they take care of their brides. Thank you, Laura and Leslie for taking such good care of me!

Astraea Bridal shop is so clean and lovely. I've always dreamed of having that perfect wedding dress try-on experience and this was it for sure. I always try to live as sustainably as I can, I feel so fortunate to have this shop in little Mount Vernon to help me accomplish that. I was nervous that they wouldn't have anything in my size/budget but I tried on probably seven beautiful gowns and there were plenty more on the rack that would have worked. When I went, the store was organized by size and price (one side of the store <1,000, so plenty of options!!) Laura was AMAZING. I'm a shy person who is easily overwhelmed when I'm the center of attention and she was so kind and really made the experience personal. Right from the start I knew I'd find my dress there for sure. She just kept pulling out dresses that were so magical and beautiful. Good thing I had my MOH and mom with me or I wouldn't have been able to choose just one! She also made sure I was set with my vendors and talked alterations with me (good thing because I honestly didn't know how any of that worked lol. I had never heard the word bustle in my life) Thanks Laura!
