I’ve been living here for three months and it’s been perfect! The apartment is very spacious with excellent appliances. The property has excellent amenities. The staff are helpful and quick to help. And you cannot beat the location - bars, restaurants, and everything else SLC has to offer all in walking distance. You’ll love it!

The apartment is pretty nice but it is nearly impossible to get ahold of staff, my truck got broken into in the secured parking lot and nobody returned my message. We've had a balance on our account for deposit stuff that we paid before we moved in and we absolutely can not get a response from someone to remove the balance. Also the internet provider is trash and you have no option but to bundle it with satellite (which we don't use) so it comes to $125 a month for 94mbps. Also location has a very hostile homeless population.... Used needles out front, fights every day, screaming, etc. Gas stove is dope though.

When I first moved into the Morton, I really loved living there, but when management changed, living at this property quickly became impossible. My apartment was beautiful and the views were spectacular, maintenance was wonderful and resolved any issues with my apartment quickly, but with regular car break-ins, bike thefts, and homeless encampments nearby, and unresponsive management, I quickly began to feel unsafe. When I reported my car breakin to the property managers, they blamed me for "forgetting to lock my doors" and told me "it's expected living downtown" and there's nothing they could do as opposed to a more professional response of "We're sorry this happened, we're working on installing cameras because this has happened to multiple residents." Additionally, the property next door was recently demolished and the construction of the new building regularly started before the sun came up. Property management was extremely unhelpful, uncommunicative, and unresponsive about when we could expect water/power outages and demolition. This made it impossible to live in this facility because the noise level was absurd and the entire building would shake making it extremely difficult to work from home. Finally, I moved out over four months ago and have yet to receive my security deposit back. I've tried contacting both corporate Greystar and the Morton Property several times with no attempt at a resolution, even though Utah's state law is that security deposits must be returned within 30 days. I've tried calling, emailing, and even stopping by in person, regarding the return of my security deposit and am ignored each time. Highly disappointing.

My wife and I have been living at the Morton for about a year now and we absolutely love it here! We are so close to our favorite lunch place (toasters) and in walking distance to all of our other favorite restaurants, and shops! Aside from the area, management is great! Kaitlyn is always so attentive to our needs, and even fed our fish when we went out of town! They definitely make it look, and feel like home! We plan on staying here till our home is built in the next few years!
