I've lived in multiple cities, with all kinds of landlords, in all types of buildings. West Temple Apartments is by far the best experience I've ever had renting. Let's start from the beginning... BEFORE MOVE IN: Management is extremely helpful with any questions you may have. (A big thanks to Ruben, who is the best building manager I've ever had!) They are extremely transparent and never once do you get the feeling like you're being deceived (the complete opposite from my experience trying to rent in LA and NY). We were able to come check out multiple units and the process of getting approved was simple. Prices are very reasonable as well. MOVING IN: very easy. Plenty of space on the street, and two elevators made it simple. LOCATION: wonderful. Less than a ten minute walk from downtown. Perfect for anyone that works there. The neighborhood itself is quiet, plenty of street parking. You get all the benefits of living in a nice, peaceful area, but never feel isolated. The building is across the street from the huge LDS convention center, but that has never been an issue for us. In fact, it's nice in the wintertime because it's beautifully decorated. It's Also very close the interstate if you need to commute further. If you like hiking, it's right near some great trails up around city creek canyon and by the capital. Anything you want is a short distance away. LIVING HERE: No complaints. Everyone we've encountered is friendly. Nice mix of people of all ages and types. We moved into a renovated unit a few months ago and have enjoyed it so much. Haven't had any issues yet other than a minor thing here or there (as expected with new construction). Again, this is where the management really shines. Always willing and able to help FINAL THOUGHTS: if you're like us, and brand new to SLC, I can't recommend West Temple enough. It's a great place to start in this city, and we feel lucky that we landed here. Pro tip: live on the west side of the building, the sunsets don't get old ☀️
