I love the Brigham Apartments, the location is exactly what I was looking for for downtown living. The community is well kept and the staff is great! The social rooms are my favorite amenity because I have meetings and host activities often. I deff recommend

04/14/22 UPDATE: The leasing office is increasing rents between 20% - 30% upon lease expiration / renewal. In my case, the rent increase is on the lower end of that range but in actual dollars it is increasing by $372 a month. I was told when I moved in that rent could not be increased by more than 8%. Asked if I could negotiate the increase and was told that this is against the law which is not true. Looking on the Brigham website, there are currently 20 units open for renting. This is historically high and I think it reflects the drastic rent increases. The LDS Church owns this building and it is outrageous and inconsistent with their teachings to be actively participating in price gouging because in this irrational market "everyone else is doing it". You would think that the Church would handle their affairs in a much more reasoned and compassionate manner. Original Review: I would recommend considering the following before renting: 1) There have been several issues with leaking, etc..in the parking garage and three weeks after moving in the pipes in the ceiling above my parking spot burst and dumped "something" ALL OVER my new BMW. 2) While the facility is now pet friendly, there are many people in the building that are intolerant to pets. It was suggested that I should keep my dogs to one side of the grassy area designated for dogs (which is only large enough for them to go to the bathroom. 3) The heating bill, which you are responsible for, is added to your monthly rent bill BUT the statement showing the amount due is sent to you about one week before it is due so hard to budget. 4) The fit and finish of the apartments is not high quality / high end and so notwithstanding the location - I don't think the units are worth the rents that they charge. 5) Even though I live in one of the larger two bedroom units - there really isn't adequate space for a moderately sized dining table. 6) The bedrooms are tight if you have a king sized bed.

Stayed here for 5 years, felt it was the best apartment to stay while in downtown Salt Lake City. Brittney and Amber were brilliant, literally didn’t have any issue which stood out during my entire time there, but if there any- Brittney and Amber took care of them. Thank you for having us !!

I've lived at Brigham Apartments for almost a year now, and have nothing but good things to say about the quality of the apartment itself, the amenities, and the staff. I've swung through the office 4-5 times for various reasons and Brittney has always instantly dropped everything to help me out. The pool is wonderful and recently renovated, and between the two gyms, I haven't had to pay for a membership elsewhere since moving here. Maintenance requests are always responded to promptly. And you can't beat the location - an easy walk up into the Avenues, to City Creek Canyon, or anywhere downtown.
