Great venue to see a show. The sound was a bit off on the sides but since it was GA we were able to sit in the middle and enjoy. The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable

Nostalgic, vintage theatre. Great lobby bar design with expansive counter. Be aware that the seats are snug. They appear to be the original frames and are not designed for comfort or larger framed humans.

Great show venue with ample seating and standing options. The balcony is great and bar access is very good. The staff is COVID crazy and won't let you in until they barely even look at your vax card, but whatever.

The Aladdin Theater has been around since 1927. It's a staple for local Portlanders who enjoy music in an intimate space. Seeing your favorite artist here is a memorable experience you won't find at the Moda Center (or many other venues for that matter). It's definitely an old place, but instead of losing its appeal it is enhanced by its vintage feel and historic vibes. There's no bad seat in the house. The staff are great as well. There are two bars for drinks and a bit of food too. The barkeeps are all patient and friendly. There's a bathroom upstairs, which may throw some off. That may be the only renovation the place needs. Another bathroom downstairs, closer to the action. Do yourself a favor. See some live music here or even a comedy show. You won't regret it.

You can leave and come back during the same show. They stamp your hand like at a night club. But if a new show starts up they change the stamp and you have to pay for the new show.
The doors probably open 7 and show at 8. No masks have been required and the last show I went to a week ago, no covid screening. But your show may be different.
Booster is no required

Your best bet would be to find a hotel downtown and take the Max to The Aladdin; the Clinton St/SE 12th station is a short walk from the theater. The nearest hotel is a Motel 6, a not very scenic walk east on Powell boulevard. You might also look for Airbnbs nearby.
Doors usually open one hour before the show starts. Box office is open Monday - Saturday, 11AM - 6PM. 😊
I talked to the theater, and they have a gender neutral ADA restroom on the first floor with a grab bar on the left.
Franklin street. Also there is usually parking on a side street nearby. Go early for closer spots@
It is an elevated stage. Front three or four rows rows could could be a little challenging for smaller kids but most performers will adjust their show to the expected audience, and the Alladin is a very professional outfit.
He is not listed on the venue's performance calendar which can be viewed at www.aladdin-theater.com

First come first serve has been my experience. Good luck, that's gonna be a great show.
It is seated, but unreserved. First in gets best seats. Often. If you arrive earlier you can get a drink at the Lamp, and get wristband. Wristband line goes in parallel with main line and is shorter
