We cannot say enough about this incredible organization. It's more than a supportive network, quickly everyone becomes family. We've been in transition for a year and within the first couple of days of staying at the family shelter our lives started turning upwards and have not stopped propelling that way since we had 4 months to find a place and we found one in less than 2 months we've been there 3 months now and our new apartment and it's just the most wonderful experience. In addition they've also helped me and my daughter survive for the last year and we were honored to have our wedding there recently. We will forever be indebted to the friends we made and all of the assistance we received during a very difficult time.

If you're a family in need this is the place to go, get in their waiting list ASAP. Most all of the staff are the most amazing compassionate caring people. They are there to help-- But you'll need to help your self also. We stayed just over a month and in that time we got off the streets and into a house, got a great new job and are working twords a brighter future.

PHFS is one of the best places that helps families in need. The staff are very friendly, kind, caring, super nice, and very helpful. They don't judge you or your situation. Without them there helping I don't what my family and I would of done. Thank you PHFS for helping my family and I when we needed it the most.

Clacamus service center....82nd in happy valley...next to fred meyers. Excellent place.
Call 211 to get on family shelter waiting lists and for availability. It is the best and quickest way to find and receive assistance and shelter. Occasionally a referral from a case worker or if a child's safety is at risk the family may be fast tracked in the the police or 211 or the case manager. Hope it helps.
Yes, there's always someone there.
There is a waitlist for shelter services, but you can call; 503-595-9390, to get on the waitlist.
You have to start with talking to 211. Either call or text. They'll have short term solutions as well as long term . They're connected to all the agencies. It might take a day depending on when you call for them to get back to you but please be patient they absolutely will help. Starting with 211 changed our lives for the better. I had contact them immediately. They also have an app that is very helpful it's 211 Oregon.good luck!
Hi, I'm one of the shelter coordinators. Yes, we accept expecting families but we get all our referrals through 211. Call them and ask to be put on the families waiting list.
