This is a great resource for homeless people if you love filth and unmanaged mental health issues, or if you are looking to score. If you are homeless and want to change that...dont bother. No one helps you. They will let you take a shower, get some clothes, or use the computer, but in terms of helping you find housing, resources, or even explaining to you how to go about doing it all yourself...no hope.

I would give this place zero stars if it was an option. It is crowded, filthy, and the staff use power plays to dominate the applicants for help. Why don't we just take the money wasted on such places and give it to the homeless so they can just rent an apartment?

There has been cuts to the services that are helpful to the homeless. As a result of the cuts the homeless are cranky and voice their opinions to the staff who sometimes get cranky back. In general the staff does try to be helpful and stay in a good mood.

The people are very disorganized and can't seem to get me a number for Gene's place, at this point its principle. Its 7 weeks now I go every week and they can't fix the problem. I do have a business card with a name will see how that goes. Someone actually is willing to be held accountable. Will keep you posted.

No, the top part of this building is about enabling a select few addicts. If you already get SSDi you need to play your cards right, a certain level of s.p.m.i gets housed first, but by Home forward, cAsCadiABHc or central city con…. Transitionprojects has some of their own housing under construction or recently constructed, but it's a mystery how those units are awarded :(
I would suggest it to Manager Joe with the beard. Really nice guy.
Yes there are contact TPI for names and addresses
I live n cali sent my brother new clothing n jackets box was tracked n received yesterday at 10.26 am but still hasn't got his stuff yet why?
A valid ID will get you one of their cards which gets you services.
Yes. There's housing based on income, HOPWA (Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS) and Section 8 (Home Forward)
They themselves offer little immediate assistance as far as that goes but if you need ANY assistance that is where you need to go
I am not there right now and they are always very busy. Try again later.
Clothing room, from my experience, is somewhat hit and miss. Sometimes they don't have clothes and aren't open for that sometimes they have other things going on and there may be several people so they will not take everyone at once. Best bet is to call and get information from reception or try some of the clothing closets around the city. Also, Rosehaven is a great place for women to get clothes.
Hello Serina, We recommend that you stop in to see our team at the Resource Center from 8 AM to 4 PM for the most up-to-date information on shelter availability. With warm regards, The Transition Projects team
