Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Came to 55 for dinner last night and was blown away. The food, the service, the vibes...the entire experience was better than we could have ever expected. Sad we didn't try it sooner, but this is now our burger place! The prices were just as good as everything else. You definitely get your money's worth here. 1000/10, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

A perfect pit-stop for the nostalgia buff, Highway 55 will transport you back to the days of the Chevy Bel-air, the birth of Rock-n-Roll music, and of course, that amazingly decadent diner food! As soon as you arrive at the entrance of the restaurant, you know that you are in for something special. Perched atop the storefront is a vintage Oldsmobile. As soon as you walk through the door, the décor and aroma will set the mood. The menu offers up classic diner fare such as cheeseburgers, hot dogs, fries, and shakes. All of which are amazing! In a slight twist, they also offer an array of excellent cheesesteaks that are much better than you might expect to get at a diner. If none of these items appeal to your palette, there are options for salads – from garden to Cobb – and grilled and fried chicken along with seafood. If I were to give H55 a tick in the “con” column, it would be the absence of onion rings on the menu. For myself, onion ring has always been THE quintessential side for burgers. If they were to ask me to make any recommendation for their menu, it would be the addition of onion rings. When you add all of the above with an incredibly friendly and helpful staff – Highway 55 is worth your dining time!
