I had a great sales experience with Freeman when we bought the car. We bought a Land Rover so I wasn’t naive to the fact that there would be future maintenance. At the time I was pregnant with our first kid and safety was the priority. I noticed the tire tread was low and pointed out that I wanted it looked at and potentially replaced… when they did their safety inspection (which took a week after we purchased the vehicle) the tires were conveniently just ‘under spec’. They wouldn’t replace the tires and insisted they were safe. 4 months later the entire side wall of the tire blew out, not because they were punctured but because the tires were worn. We had to replace all 4 tires and Freeman was just willing to give us a free oil change. A month later my break light came on and yet again was just under spec when they did the safety inspection at the time of purchase. I had to replace all 4 break pads. What started out as a positive experience with Freeman has since turned into a business I would never recommend to friends or family. I didn’t expect them to replace maintenance items but I did have a baseline expectation that the new-to-us car would be safe for our family.

I had an excellent buying experience with Freeman. I drove up to Portland from southern Oregon a little late in the day on a Friday, about a 4 hour drive. They had a very fair deal on a Porsche Macan S and I was trading in a car so I expected to be there a while. When I arrived they had the Macan pulled up and ready to go in the showroom. Got a fair trade-in amount, the car was in great condition, and all the paperwork was done in a very timely fashion. My salesman Alex was great, the whole thing couldn't have gone better. My wife is very happy with her early Christmas present 🎁
