Well… it’s a room I guess. If you need somewhere to stay by the ocean with a pool that’s about all it offers well. The rooms are run down. Paint peeling off of the walls, marks in the carpet, what I think to be mold on the side of the bed? Either way the bed is dirty. The elevator smells like sweat and you can tell it isn’t ever cleaned as we stayed a week almost and the hand prints have never went away. The furniture looks like it was straight out of a grandmas house. So what made me write this review? It wasn’t the smell of everything, it wasn’t the horrible paint, it wasn’t even the mold on the bed. I just walked into my room after getting back to find a massive roach looking at me on the wall as I walked in. I personally didn’t have the breakfast but my family did and they said it was terrible.

Front desk staff is friendly… but It’s really gone down hill here. Stayed 3 years ago and it was great. Now… not so much. Room service doesn’t come in to change out towels or trash unless it is put out in the hall… which is fine but we were never told to do this at check in. We are now on day 4 and have received no toilet paper. The toilet will no longer flush and is about to overflow in the floor… when we told from desk, we were told that we would have to leave for a while to allow maintenance to come in so we currently can’t use our bathroom… we are having to go to stores for potty breaks. The pool… was told that it opens at 9:00am on weekdays and 10:00 on Sunday. We just tried to go to the pool at 9:15am and all the gates are still locked… yet the people in the first floor with direct access to the pool are swimming. Front desk is now saying it won’t open until 10:00 because their maintenance won’t arrive until around 9:30 to maintain and open the pool… so I guess they come clean/open the pool when they please vs when they tell their guests. Also with being at the beach… sand obviously gets in the rooms… cleaning crew will not come and vacuum it out… we even asked to use a broom to do it ourselves but was told that the cleaning crew is using them to clean rooms and they have no extras. For the price of this place… there are many other better options. Since cleaning crew isn’t allowed in rooms when guests are here… at least a broom kept in the room would be extremely helpful.

Aside from the front desk and location, this place is absolutely disgusting. There is clearly mold growing in multiple places within the rooms. Our bathroom didn't even look like it was cleaned prior to us arriving. The mirror was dirty, there was chipping in the tub, and it was an overall very bad experience. When arriving the rooms were very humid, but we were scared to use the ac because of the mold growing in it. Our phones were disconnected so we couldn't even call the front desk. If anyone decides to take a trip here I would advise you to stay far away from this Best Western.

If I could write 0 stars I would. This place is absolutely horrendous, we checked in at 2:40am and spent $400 on a room and the receptionist called around 12pm the SAME DAY to tell us we had to check out. We were never informed of these policies and when asking the receptionist she said we technically checked in “the night before” according to their policies which means we paid $400 for an 11 hour stay. The room was definitely not cleaned before our stay either, there was debris in the shower on the walls and tub floor, stains all over the sheets and curtains which we could deal with but the worst part is the customer service staff obviously has no sense of communication with their customers and of course don’t tell you until after you pay. Definitely would not recommend to anyone and will not be staying in a best western again.
