Reasonable pricing, very nice staff and vets. They keep the best of the pets and the owners in mind and have the best suggestions on everything we asked for.

Banfield Pet Hospital Des Moines is an AWESOME place to take your pets! ALL the employees there were so caring, personable, knowledgeable, and loving to my Max kitty 😻! They're fees are very reasonable and apply discounts for us seniors 👩🏻‍🦳, too! Max's constant sneezing and cough were making him so miserable and the Vet's diagnosis and the treatments that she advised were spot on and just what Max needed! He's feeling much better and back to being his old self again ! And I am A HAPPY MOM!

Nothing but positive experiences here so far, and staff are wonderful. They seem to truly enjoy what they do. I feel good bringing my pup here, and they always check in with me while she’s there. 10/10!

Very happy with their service, I'll be glad when I can go back with her though while she's being examined..

Banfield Pet Hospital | Aug 16, 2020

You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Aug 16, 2020
Banfield Pet Hospital | Aug 16, 2020

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).

Does this place do low_or no cost neutering for cats. I found an abandon kitten and he has fleas and balls. I need to get that taken care of immediatley. I ran public adds on the internet trying to locate his prior owners but no luck.

They charge but I don't think they're expensive. VCA on 348th and I think 11th does low cost vet services and last I took a kitten for a neuter, it was like $60 altogether.
