My go-to local pet store. Needed a new cat scratcher and it was $3 cheaper here than the cheapest online. Used to own reptiles and they have reptile food & supplies too. Fish and small mammals for sale.

Overall it's a pretty good store. Clean with friendly and helpful staff. The main focus of the store is for sure dogs and cats. Their other departments are kinda lacking but sufficient enough. They do sell live feeder rodents which is the reason I go there. You just have to be careful and double check the sizes because they are usually pretty far off. On several occasions I have asked for a pinky rat and what I got was fully furred and almost had it's eyes open. But the staff are super awesome and will let you pick out what you need. I definitely recommend the store and will continue to go.

Great pet store. Shopped here for years. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. Dogs also enjoy the love they get and the opportunity to grab some snacks as they walk down the isles.

My second review because I wanted to post pictures of Speckles he is much bigger now. 1 month later. Love pets on Broadway & the funny/nice crew. Thank you Cody for helping me with my gecko!

Haha up until covid there were cats up for adoption so Rosie mimicks them!
Seems all covid practices are in order. Limited people, wear a mask. Still a very enjoyable experience even with restrictions.
That's a question I don't know for sure I can say I have never seen pets in store. I would call ahead of time.
There are a number of feed stores in the Portland area that you could get those pellets or shavings from. You might try coastal Farm supply in Gresham
They have all kinds of Birds there I think they have cockatiels there I'm pretty sure they do
Yes. They have budgies in stock almost constantly. In the four years I've been going there, the budgie aviary has only been empty once or twice -- only because they were restocking.
They do have gift certificates
Maya - can she see your reply?
Hi there Barry, Thank you for your question. Yes, we carry both live and frozen feeder mice/rats in various sizes.
No they do not.
If you mean ducks in that case I have never seen ducks in the many years I've been shopping there
no they do not
No they don't.
Various prices
Tt TT TTY 6 to t6
Not 100%, but I feel they do. Great diversity of animals and products. They'll certainly have the resources to connect you with a ferret.
Pets on broadway is a pet supply business to get all pet supplies.
Hi TSMerrill - Thanks for checking in! We do have some limited ability to sell animals. Basically, we would do everything over the phone as far as getting your setup ready. Then you could do curbside pickup. We're not selling animals in the store as normal due to the extended amount of time required for the interaction. If you would like to go that route or want some more information please give us a call at 503-282-5824 and ask for the Animal Care department. Best, Joe
If they don't I bet they would get them for you
Yes
I believe they adopt cats to families. The website has available adoptions.
I love this place, and it's the best I found for aquariums, but I doubt it's the best. I believe they only had one brand of aquarium in varying sizes. Only one kind of lid, which simply lifts off, no sliding or latch/hinge options, but you can buy clips to secure the lid.
Sometimes you have to call first
I've seen them there a few times over the years, but it would be best to call to see when they'd next have them available for purchase.
You would have to call them
I don't think they usually have turtles, but calling is the best way to check. If they don't, consider calling Tropical Hut, a reptile +aquatic specialty pet store off of Division and 39th. Turtles are very tricky animals to care for well, and usually get much larger than people anticipate. This leads to a high rate of turn-over, neglect, or 'releasing' into the local pond. This in turn makes many small pet stores hesitant to carry them.
I doubt it.
$9-$14 depending on size
Yep! They carry live and frozen feeders of all sizes -- though I havent asked about feeders larger than jumbo rats. But your rosy boa won't need anything that large.
Youll need to contact Pets on Broadway directly for that. Here you'll only get information from other shoppers like yourself.
I have never seen stick bugs there but that doesn't mean they don't have them...just wasn't looking for them. wasntv
They sure do!
The staff in the fish department are incredibly knowledgeable. I would head over to Pets on Broadway and talk to Paige or Tyler. They probably have what you need, and if not, they will tell you where to get it!
Most probably. I highly recommend bringing in a water sample. They can test the health of your aquarium and can provide a more thorough solution. Without testing, it's hard to know what is happening in the water or what is effecting your fish. You can also bring phone pics or videos if you want to show them what you're concerned about.
Yep! They have a lovely reptile department, and cresties are a favorite.
Oh I have no idea. I passed through the reptile section just yesterday and they have a nice selection. I didn't pay attention to the quality of habitats or anything so... Outta my area. I have bought for reptiles and such but not here. They should be nice enough to give em a ringading and ask though ... never hurts?? 🤔
I'm not sure, I would call with specific questions.
They do sell crickets, don't know about the particular rabbit food. Give them a call.
Hey Robert! I was able to track down your original purchase with your name. Bring your old one in and we'll just swap it out for you. I grabbed the same heater and put it up behind the counter. It'll be there for about a week. Thanks for writing! Best, Joe
They do not have hedgehogs, they requore some extra care that the store cannot provide. They do have rats, bunnies, mice, and gineua pigs though
Cat gets the fancy mice and plays with them. Cat brings them inside and then lets them run under the furniture. Its a questionable business model but what are you going to do?
I don’t know but my opinion is maybe not
I don't believe they accept returns on live animals at all. Once an animal has left the store, they can no longer be sure of its exposure to disease, so taking it back risks the rest of their stock. One returned mouse isn't worth the risk to the whole colony.
They don't sell dogs. They do have adoption opportunities, but only for cats and (rarely) rabbits.
They sell rabbit supplies, and sometimes have rabbits from the Humane Society for adoption.
They do have cats for adoption, actually, thanks to a partnership with the Multnomah Humane Society.
