Nonbelievers: beware. Genuine Christ followers host this cozy multi-room home, and they might give you too much love and respect. Haha. I stayed for three months over the summer in 2019. There was a huge free garden in the back (squash, kale, tomatoes, sesame leaves, herbs, and more), Paul made us all his specialty garden-raised eggplant parmigiana !!!!!!!!!! and I got to meet a lot of interesting people from all over the world. You don’t have to socialize w anyone if that’s not your headspace, but it’s a cool opportunity otherwise. They give you your space. They do great with keeping up with all of the rooms between visitors changing every few days, weeks, months. They’ve been doing this for like 15 yrs. There’s a curfew/quiet hour so definitely no problem getting your shut eye even w multiple guests in the home. Plenty of street parking as well, and most of the neighborhood are Christian. There are 3 rooms upstairs, plus the hosts’ master bedroom making it 4. There’s 2 rooms on the first floor, I think one has its own bathroom? There are rooms for guests in the basement as well (it was under major renovation when I stayed there, but think there’s space for 2-3 maybe 4). It’s like less than 2 miles from the prayer room, which is good walking distance. I didn’t have a car and caught rides w other guests or the hosts every once in awhile, but the walk is actually doable. I’m uhhh not fit. Paul & Djany are responsible, clean, and honest. The presence of the Lord is definitely here, which was the best part. These guys are some anointed serious intercessors/evangelists/open air preacher deeply favored by the Lord. It’s a really, really special place. My heart was shattered and my spirit really longed for the ministry and love of the Holy Spirit. I could really sense the Lord’s presence here all the time. Really special folks come through this place. And it’s true like the other comments say; they were all associated w IHOP from what I remember. I didn’t mind that. “Do not be yoked with unbelievers” anyway it wouldn’t have been good for me to share residency with anyone who wasn’t walking w the Lord, due to the deeply fragmented and sensitive spiritual state I was in. This home was seriously a haven. Chee chee! I hope you can make it a part of your experience if you ever decide to visit IHOPKC! I definitely wanna stay here again. The hosts were accommodating and helpful, patient, true in many ways. I really enjoyed my stay and won’t ever forget my time in Kansas City. Love you, Paul & Djany!

Exellent short term housing for the prayer room. Affordable. Opportunities to make new friends. Be recharged with love, prayer and by the spirit. If you are considering a motel or a hotel, then I recommend reconsidering and contact Paul the manager of the house. The price is unbeatable. The people you'll meet in that house are worth it. I remember a friend there saying, "God hand selects each person that goes in and out of this house". It is true. The house managers pray over the house and everyone there. You can feel it. And you'll see it. Highly recommended.

Rick Rossilli I had a great time at Ihop Housing with Paul and Djany for the thee months I was there. They where very hospitable and helpful to all my needs. The experiences with them and people from all over the world that stayed there during my time was awesome as I seen God show up to minister to us all from fellowship, meals, and special times on a one on one discussion. We had great worship and music as Paul, Djany, and us all praised Jesus together different days and nights. They also invited me to several different events they were involved in which was very meaningful to me. I felt very loved and a part of their family then and now and forever. I could not have had any better of an experience anywhere in Kansas City. They will always be on my heart in prayer and family. I look forward to going back there and visiting with them. We enjoyed our stay so much! The bed and room was so comfortable! Djany and Paul were incredibly friendly and hospitable to us. We stayed a week and we had one of the best community experiences ever! I highly recommend staying with the Salernos! They really love the people who come and serve them with their time, words, and possessions.
