I have been going to Crestwood Court (fka Companion) since my dog was a puppy and had previously had decent experiences. I have always done the walk-in clinic, but decided to make an appointment this time. I called well in advance to make an appointment and was able to schedule a convenient time on 7/1/22 at 3:30pm. When I showed up for the appointment, they had no record of my appointment for that day, or any other day. They said they had a system change and that may have been the issue, or the person making the appointment messed something up. I had taken time off of work for the appointment, so really wanted to have my dog seen. They were not willing to see her, even though they had messed up the appointment. They accept walk-ins, but they were not willing to see a pet when they messed up the appointment. Extremely disappointing service. Mistakes happen, but you make it right with the customer. I will not be returning. Update: After posting this I noticed other reviews with the exact same experience. Beware - you may make an appointment and then not actually have one.

I was a walk-in because we had to take our cat in suddenly. Even though we had to wait, it was faster then I expected. Once I got in they worked quick and the cost was not as bad as I was imagining. I liked the Veterinarian, she was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I never leave bad reviews, but I feel this is deserved as it was handled very poorly. I took our cat in to get shots, 1 week later she had typical signs of ring worm that take a week to develop. My cats are indoor only and the only time she went out was to the vet. They let us know that they will not be able to see us until August when they have availability, but that we can come in for a walk in. It’s impossible to come in for a walk in appointment and we are left trying to get this taken care of. For reference, we have tried coming in before walk in hours start twice, and we were turned away. We live 40 min out and with these high gas prices it’s not something I would like to continue to do. Their only explanation is “well ring worm is extremely common so she probably got it somewhere else”. We have 3 cats, she was the only one seen and she’s the only one with ring worm. Not to mention they are all indoor only and we work from home and never leave our house! Expensive, and I now my house has ring worm. I would not recommend, I would go anywhere else.

I came here to say goodbye to my cat I raised and loved for 13 years due to his chronic conditions. The staff and doctor were very compassionate and my cat felt very safe and peaceful in the last moment. I appreciate their service and the warmth they have shown us during this time.

Saturdays are often packed. Make an appointment if you can, or bring your patience if you can't.

They don't do free stuff at a vet clinic. Anymore you don't have up front cash for anything forget it. And don't expect DL downtown Portland help, I hate them. Just take your dog home and shoot it instead them. Charged me over franklin to put him down. I would paid anything with payments, said $3-8k. But cash up front inhumane f*'✓©^•ers. That would been my only option, give dog to humane society and they might of gave surgery and adopted out to another owner. Dam gf pitbull killed my dog, 2nd one, hate that breed and gf now.

Hello, it does require an exam prior to scheduling her spay. Exam is $43.50 & the spay generally runs around $140.00 & is additional if she is in heat or pregnant at the time of the spay.
9am-11am and 2pm-5pm M-F, and 9am-11am and 1pm-3pm Saturday. They're closed Sundays. Also you will have to call in to check in as their lobby isn't open due to COVID, so once you get there wait in your car and call until you get ahold of someone.
They are 9:00 am to 11:00 am & 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday (today 9/22/2020 they are from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, we are closing early for a staff meeting) Saturday's we have them from 9:00 am to 11:00 am & 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. However they are limited so if we reach the maximum amount we can take we have had to stop them early.
Good morning, We do not have a dermatologist, we generally refer out if the doctor thinks that is necessary.
Exams are 39.50
We got our two female dogs spayed and that was around $350 each. Plus the pre-spay examination ~$40. This was in 2019 and 2020.
We got our female cat spayed in August 2020 and it was $190 plus pre-spay examination $40. So you'd have the $40 plus I'd guess around $100 for a male cat as that's usually less expensive. It also depends if you want blood work prior to surgery, laser treatment for the wound (makes it heal faster), vaccines, etc. That all adds up.
I believe it's a franchise. The one in cascade park is privately owned. And as far I know there is no tax break.
I don't know, but they are very helpful if you phone and great about replying to messages.
Walk-In hours are 9 to 11 and 2 to 5 M-F 9 to 11 and 1 to 3 SAT
I don't believe any veterinarian would declawe a dog. There's only a few left that will do it to cats anymore. You can take them in to your veterinarian to have their claws clipped or you can do it yourself with clipping tools they sell in any pet store. Also Petsmart does grooming and they would probably be your best bet. I don't know for sure but perhaps they could show you howto clip their claws.
Need to make an appointment for adv then almost anytime.
