Truly THE BEST. I started going to him when my now 22yr old son was only 6 weeks old, he had horrible colic and reflix that drove me mad. The previous md wouldn't explore the hours of crying more probably due to my insurance being medicaid. Dr Oriel did not hesitate to do an upper GI test and many others to quickly diagnose the issue and treat it. He even sent a nurse to my house to check in and give ne support/a break! He was just what I needed in my life as a 20 year old mother who was so overwhelmed One time my son had a fever and Dr. Oriel called me on Christmas eve just to check in on him! He worked with me when I had no insurance. I could truly go on and on.. he's great and silly with the kids. His heart is amazing. I called his office today and he instantly remembered my voice from years ago, it was amazing to talk to him. People should be lined up for this man's excellent care and expertise! ❤

Months ago, I called Dr Oriel's office and gave all the necessary information to establish care. All this time, I had peace of mind my kids have him as their pediatrician, and I updated school forms, and centers. Today, I got a call to make an emergency appointment and was given available time slots and I picked 1615hr. The receptionist put me on hold to check in a patient. Upon returning she told me, since Dr Oriel hasn't seen my kids before, he can't take new patients. Whose fault was it? Why didn't the receptionist set an appointment to establish care months ago when they called me? Is it my place to determine how this place works, or the receptionists need to know? Technically, all these months my kids didn't have a pediatrician? Not funny! Rude receptionist, "She just told me, it's not her to determine care, it's Dr Oriel's place" I'm starting from scratch to search for a pediatrician and re-update forms everywhere.

Dr. Oriel is by far the best Pediatrician we have ever had. He has seen 4 of my children since we moved to Auburn. Our youngest is Medically Complex and has a team of specialists. Dr. O. is quick to get in contact with his specialists anytime there needs to be more involvement from them. We too followed him TWICE to keep him. The drive is about 40 minutes, but I wouldn't change it. His office space is handicap accessible, clean and the staff is great. Dr. O. always takes his time to make sure we as the parents fully understand everything. My kids are very comfortable being open with him and aren't afraid when I say it is Dr. O. day. We love you Dr. O. You can never retire :)

My two boys have been seeing Dr Oriel since the day they were born and as long as I can help it they will never switch to another pediatrician. I trust him wholeheartedly to do what is in my boys' best interest. He always calls to follow up personally. He is the most dedicated physician that I have seen. We started seeing him in Auburn when my oldest was born in 2002 and we have followed him to his new practice at North Tacoma Pediatrics which is a 35 min drive on a good day. My boys are worth it because Dr Oriel is the very best one can find in a pediatrician. He takes his time, he is very thorough, he listens, and he CARES. My boys love him and feel comfortable in his care. I can't say enough good things about my family's experience.8
