Bought cedar grove compost from Home Depot and used it on a section of our lawn. It had glass in it. DO NOT BUY. After my child got a small piece of glass in her foot I checked reviews and find others complaining of glass, plastic, batteries, etc. The integrity of this compost is poor and dangerous...glad we didn’t use it in the garden as well.

Very unhappy, I planned my day out, came to Cedar Grove at 7am and no one was in the office to take the payment. Called the (corporate) office and Maple Valley location should be open. One of the loading workers came by and said that they are working from 8am. Poor advertisement.

Garbage product, filled with plastic bits (that I could see), a bone and glass. Pulling up on a hot Summer Day was a massive mistake as the smell was intolerable. This is composting done wrong (when composting goes anaerobic it stinks or when imbalanced levels of composted scraps are used and creates high levels of greenhouse gases.)--Truly a pointless venture and there is much better compost to be found elsewhere....

I bought my Cedar Grove Compost at Black Diamond Coal. When I inquired what it was they said it was Cedar Grove Compost. That made me happy because it’s very close to my home. I was very disappointed with the compost. Found 3 old AA batteries in there as well as lots of small pieces of what looked like pieces of plastic bags. Also found a very large piece of hard plastic. Won’t do that again.

No rocks or dirt. If it grows it goes. Food waste is also accepted. No plastic or glass.
