I would give no stars if I could. I u usually don’t write reviews because I get sidetracked and forget. I am writing this to hopefully save someone else the money time and disappointment. We arrived around 11 PM and saw a cockroach in the doorway of the office. I shook it off and tried to give it the benefit of the doubt because I was so tired from driving for seven hours. Once we got into our rooms my friend saw a cockroach on the wall and killed it, And there was a spider on the bed. We ended up leaving and it took two days to get refunded by the owner. We ended up going to the red roof Inn up the road and it was amazing compared to that place.

We ended up getting our money back. The room was so bad. The bathroom had black mold growing everywhere. There was trash left in the room and stains all over the floor and every piece of furniture in there. We turned the bed down and there were stains on the sheets. We went back to the front desk and showed the manager pictures of the room and asked if we could move to a different one. He said that we could, but that he could not guarantee we would get a room without stains on the sheets. Needless to say we did not stay here. The price to stay per night is very reasonable, but I would rather pay double then stay in a room this filthy.

I never leave reviews…. I’m leaving this solely to ensure that no exhausted traveler ever experiences this disgusting establishment. There are not words for how unsanitary EVERYTHING in the room is. We asked for non smoking and of course the room smells identically to a soggy ashtray. No towels. No Wash clothes. Used unwashed bedding. The front desk attendant was dishevel and entirely incapable of checking in travelers.

This place is a dump. I understand for a 2 star hotel it won't be the Ritz, but any hotel room must be clean and safe, this was neither. I honestly don't know how it is allowed to continue to operate, there are so many hygiene and safety hazards they should be reported. In summary, here's the breakdown: - the door security lock was broken, - the smoke alarm was removed, as other reviewers have noted and is probably illegal, - the towels were stained, - Paint was peeling, - You could see the bare concrete floor in spots where the carpet was worn out, - There was mildew in the fridge, - A shoe print on the tub (I can't make this stuff up) , - The hot water didn't work right, - Bedside lamp didn't work - Contents from other rooms strewn about the breezeways And to top it off, the front desk guy took 20 minutes to check me in (at 11pm) and just as I said to myself was going to happen I was double charged for the room. They did reverse it, but still annoying, and I'm worried about the deposit because the room was so disgusting how will they know it wasn't me. The takeaway, I'd have rather slept in my car for the evening.
