One word ... DELICIOUS! The fried mushrooms are HUGE and super tasty! The chicken fried steak is on point. The hamburger steak is awesome. The onion rings are super crispy and clearly hand battered. This place is a MUST for Horse Cave, Kentucky! Due to my health, I don't eat at restaurants indoors. While they don't usually have outdoor dining, they pulled a table and chairs out on the porch for us. The owners are SUPER welcoming.

Granted thr service was slow due to only 2 waitresses. Which isn't their fault at all. The food was phenomenal got the chicken fried steak, onion rings, and mashed potatoes. The steak and onion rings were phenomenal and the potatoes were one of the best I've had. Definitely a go to.

Small town Texas vibe with great food, and I'm not just saying that because I'm from Texas. I had the A-1 brisket burger that was cooked perfect with some amazing onion rings on the side. My husband had some excellent chicken fried chicken, smashed potatoes and more great onion rings. We will definitely be back and I'd seriously recommend stopping in to eat or taking a trip for a really good meal.

We were looking for a nice breakfast spot between Hodgensville and Smith's Grove and found this nice spot. The staff was amazingly friendly which was very pleasant and the food was phenomenal! I have a good appetite and usually breakfast spots will leave me wishing for a little more. Not here. The portion size was perfect for someone who may eat a bit more than most, and the breakfast was delicious. We'll be back for sure!
