This isn't so much about the distribution center as it is the merchandisers who stock the potato chips in the local King Soopers stores. I'll just put it this way... I'm sick of buying bags of Lays potato chips ...doesn't matter what flavor... that are nothing but broken up crumbs. Every bag I've opened for the last 2 years has been like this...especially the Sour Cream and Onion ones. This is entirely the fault of the merchandisers who, probably in a gigantic hurry under unrealistic pressure, haphazardly and hastily slam and cram as many bags onto the shelf as possible. Maybe they should just change the packaging to say Potato Crumbs to better reflect the product that's actually inside the packaging. Maybe sell them as cereal to eat with a spoon? Pour some corn starch on them and turn them into Stax? I've never once had this problem when buying any other brand of potato chips. Just the Lays.
