As a music teacher of violin and viola, I have found that every instrument from RL Ray, even the smallest ones, are set up to have an amazing sound, including the lowest strings, with meticulous attention to bridge curve and other details, plus a very reasonable rental price and insurance option. Definitely worth the drive to Olympia, and much appreciated by this teacher to have an instrument that allows a student to get a lovely tone.

Hi Tayla, We carry a wide range of strings by many string makers. The price depends on what kind of strings you are looking for. We have a set of violin strings that we have made for the shop that are $35 for a set. We also carry strings by Thomastik Infeld, Pirastro, Larsen, Jargar, and many others. Give us a call or stop by the shop and we can find strings that will work for you!

We sell violas at a variety of levels and rent student level violas. Let us know what we can get set up for you!
