Great place to stay with my son while undergoing surgery at OSHU. Fantastic staff that made us all feel welcome. Such a benefit to families with young children that need medical care from OSHU.

These people are absolutely amazing and I don't know what I would have done on multiple occasions without them. They were a home away from home while my son was fighting cancer at Doernbecher. The people here are so welcoming loving kind and helpful. They have tons of activity vouchers/passes free for the family staying with them which is amazing if you have other children with you. They're outside playground is amazing and lots of fun. Their facilities are fantastic. Everything is new and clean. I couldn't recommend them any higher

OHSU has several cafes/food/ coffee shops and an extensive cafeteria. The patient menu is expansive. For people stuck there a while, they offered a food card so I could get food at the other places in the hospital. The breakfast at Ronald McDonald was good. We saw a number of other food places nearby that we didn't try.
The patients have to be pediatric, which is 21 and under.
Urban Market is within walking distance from the Ronald McDonald house
I would ask them. They have a relationship with Lyft. They shuttle you for free between OHSU/Doernbecher. Wouldn't surprise me if they offered something similar from airport.
If you have OHP you can talk to medical transport and they will help you out. They usually can reimburse you for mileage, and like $40 a night for hotels. Try calling your insurance and see if there are any options with them. Hope this helps. Good luck.
