I am commenting on behalf of a a young woman whose manager did not allow a co-tenant attend a meeting about their tenancy , ordered another manager to leave so “they could have privacy” (what for?) went to the the front door and flipped the open sign from open to closed, shut the blinds, made sure the lights were out, locked the door and put the keys in his pocket then informed My friend “that is so We aren’t interrupted. Is there any person that could provide a single (not science fiction)explanation other than what we all know this man expected my friend to do before he would unlock the door. Fortunately for her her repeated demands worked and he eventually let her go So after he was served with an elder person/ disabled person restraining order they again They made the choice to have him work more hours on site instead of temporarily reassigning him to another property. Please can someone tell me why?

This is an awful company that posed as a non-profit that provides safe, decent and affordable housing for low income individuals, including disabled and elderly residents. This is a lie. They have a high turnover of managers who only work part-time and their "passive air" system is beyond a joke- it should be considered criminal. Unfortunately, they received a lot of grant money and everyone turns a blind eye to the atrocities.

The managers do not manage nor do they communicate with the tenants. The manager never acknowledges your concerns, ignores your emails, messages and is never available! The tenants are on their own. Since they are not on site, communication is vital. Reach needs to do a better job monitoring their community managers so the tenants needs are being met.

Unfortunately Floyd Light Apartments in SE Portland have been poorly overseen by manager Teddy Von Burg. She has deliberately and continuously ignored complaints that have imposed safety concerns for the community. Multiple broken pieces of old furniture, flea infested rugs & broken glass were thrown throughout the property making it a tripping hazard to the entrance to my apartment for 5 days by her favored resident, James Bastian. I’m very much looking forward for the courts to reopen to pursue an adequate response to endless unresolved issues within this property.

No. However, if you're a resident, please contact your resident services coordinator.

Hello Beverly, I used to work for the IT Department there so I would be happy to help answer the question for you. There are a couple reasons. The technical - the switches there are a new type and seem to be having an issue that requires them to be restarted often. The not so technical - They don't get restarted often because the IT department is fairly non-existing at REACH as they primarily outsource the IT. Because they are primarily having someone else do the IT work these situations are not as easily addressed since it may not be their primary focus like that of an internal department. Here is what I recommend. Please speak with the property manager, or assistant property manager and have them send in a help-desk ticket. This way the technical support team can assist in getting it fixed. I apologize and I wish that there was more I could do to assist you and I hope that you get the Internet back soon.
Please visit the website for locations, a few places have been built!
