Just got a jewelry change, but I only have good things to say about this place! Other places have made me feel self conscious of where I got my piercings from, but everyone made me feel so comfortable at Laughing Buddha. Colin brought me into a separate room and switched my cartilage piecing in a few seconds. He has been doing piercings for many year and I will definitely be coming back to have him do my future piercings!

I usually don't write reviews, unless I had a bad experience, however, I had such an amazing experience at Laughing Buddha Seattle, that I just had to take the time to write this as I was absolutely blown away with how great of an experience I had with my piercing change outs by Lil John, and the girl that helped me pick out my jewelry in the front lobby. I previously had my helix pierced in 2 areas at a place in Bellevue, and after a month of the 2 helix rings causing me pain, I went ahead and scheduled an appointment with Lil John to look at my ears, which come to find out he said the person that pierced my helix should've never put rings in as you are supposed to start out with studs first, then you change to hoops after 9 months, which explains why I was in so much for a over a month after getting it done. Lil John removed the hoops and changed them out for 2 gorgeous studs, and he also stretched my septum. From all of the education to amazing experience both him and his staff provided, I will definitely be returning to Laughing Buddha Seattle for any future piecing needs!

Went to Laughing Buddha this evening to get a simple ear piercing. As soon as I checked in from my phone, they came right out and greeted me very warmly and treated me with so much kindness and respect. Their Covid policies made me feel very safe. Lil John did exactly what I was looking for, and made sure to keep me at ease and answer any questions I had. I feel like good customer service is hard to find these day, but these guys nail it. I highly recommend to anyone looking for any type of piercing. I'll be back. Thanks Lil John and everybody at Laughing Buddha!

I had my Prince Albert piercing done today by Lil John. I already heard great things about this location but my experience exceeded my expectations by far. The shop is so clean and comfortable. The booking and check-in process was painless. The customer service team was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They are transparent with their sanitation procedures and I never had any doubt I was going to have a clean experience. I was already nervous and self-conscious given the location of the piercing but Lil John was very comforting. You can tell by their confidence that they had plenty of experience. The jewelry was already picked for me on my arrival and it was exactly what I planned to ask for: 8g curved barbell. All my questions were answered and the piercing was done quickly and it was relatively painless. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. I will definitely revisit this location for any piercing needs in the future!

It would probably work fine, but if you do a consult, the artist really works with you to make sure you are completely happy.

Hi Gwen, We would recommend you wait until you're in an off-season before getting a piercing. No matter what the material the jewelry is, it can still get caught or pinched if you're playing a high impact sport. It's best to wait until you can heal it safely. Thank you!

Hi Giselle, We only do permanent tattoos. As far as I know, any tattoo put in with a needle is technically permanent. Temporary tattoos only go on top of the skin so it would need to be done at a printers. Thank you!
Hi Talia, I would suggest finding someone who specializes in this style of tattooing. None of our artists do and it's a very specific specialty. I don't know anyone in the area who does. If you have a design for it that doesn't need to be designed and you're ok with it being done with a traditional electric tattoo machine, we can do that but it wouldn't technically be Sak Yants. I don't want to speak for the shop but they do have a minimum price so might not be the best place for small ones. They ARE great though!
Hi Quynh, We don't use used jewelry for fresh piercings because the quality of the jewelry is very important to us. The finish is also important. Sometimes jewelry can get microscopic scratches or dents and that makes in unusable for a fresh piercing. We also need to have a guarantee that the metal is high quality, implant grade metals and a mirror polish. It's all about a nice easy healing process and we want it to be easy and healthy for you as possible. Thank you!
Hi Jasmin, To do a safe tattoo we need a lot of disposable barriers and supplies. $13 doesn't cover our cost of materials to do a safe tattoo and it doesn't pay our artists what they are worth for their talent and years of experience. For something that lasts an entire lifetime, it's worth paying for it to be safe and high quality.

18+ it starts with a base cost $36+tax but the final price really depends on the jewelry you get in it. Younger than 18 your guardian needs to come with and a bunch of paperwork.
Hi Debby, Everything we use for healing piercings is made from implant grade metals or gold. We order from BVLA, Body Circle, NeoMetal, and a few other high end jewelry manufactures. We require metal certificates from anyone we order metal from to prove that they follow our organization, APP, guidelines. We are APP members. We only use internally threaded jewelry. Hi there, We do not. We recommend doing some research on that piercing as it can cause a lot of complications with teeth/gum health as well as limiting the natural movement of your tongue.
