The hike is a little steep bit definitely worth the view. The view of the waterfalls is absolutely mesmerizing. There is a bridge that takes you across the waterfall. Also there’s stairs on the side that lead you to a viewpoint that shows the waterfall from a distance. Plenty of parking near the starting point.

This a small fall of mount rainier. The upstream look a like small creek. but the water very speedy that makes the fall very beatifull. This should be a must visit when you Re visiting paradise area of mout rainier national park. From visitor center you meed to do a lillte about half mile easy hike. It would have a memarizing beauty of mt. rainier loook forward. In general paradise area have high demad of parking, so be prepared for that.

Most of the trails just south of Mount Rainier are spectacular, so you can't go wrong picking any of them. Myrtle Falls stands out among them as an accessible spot with a short walk that has a view as good as anything you'll ever see in Washington. This spot is well worth a visit for that reason.

Walked from visitors center in shorts, T-shirt and mesh shoes to Myrtle Falls on 27-Jun. Parking lot was clear, but there was several feet of snow on the trails. 77 degF at first with full sun, ice in my shoes and a cool breeze blowing. Less than 1/2 mile (one way) but the slushy snow made finding footing difficult. The first pic is from the bridge, looking upstream. The water is nearly invisible, but you can hear it. The second pic is Skyline Trail.

No dogs allowed on trails in national parks.

Is Myrtle Falls view point wheelchair accessible?

There is a concrete path all the way to the bridge above the falls. However, the trail down to the viewpoint is too steep for a wheel chair. Also, check with the national park in case there is snow on the ground which might make this completely inaccessible.
