I stopped into Torrid on the 4th of July weekend while visiting my daughter in Tampa and the sales lady Melissa was AMAZING!!! She noticed that I was wearing clothes way too big for me so we started talking about my recent weightloss and how I came in to find a bra that fits. She said she could measure me to make sure. She went above and beyond to make sure I had the right bra and size. She was such a big help and listener. She had no idea that just an hour before I had almost fell and was so sad and embarrassed about it due to my weight. She really made me feel good that day and I really needed that. She also discovered that I was no longer a 46 but a 38DDD which had me ecstatic!! Her coworker Bella who she had been singing my praises to was so sweet and told me how great it was that I was able to go from a 30 to a size 22 by eating healthy. These ladies really made my weekend. I will definitely be back.

Got too expensive. Not same as before. But still love their clothes and staff is very friendly

I walked in yesterday with a friend and was treated rudely. We didn't know the mall closed early as I'm new in town, so we walked in to Torrid where the door was open and there were shoppers. A woman glared at us while we walked in without a word, it looked like she was approaching is but she didn't say anything. Realizing her weird body language and having worked in retail (Torrid, actually), I asked her if the store was closing. She said "we're obviously closed." A woman who was checking out another customer yelled over "well she WAS on her way to close the door when you walked in." Look, I get people wanna go home and I was fine if they were closing, but the aggressive tones and body language weren't necessary. I said, "Okay, well the attitude wasn't necessary" as I walked out. And the lady, who was still checking out a customer, yelled back, "Ma'am I didn't have an attitude with you!". I would have never talked to a customer when I used to work at Torrid, I assume she must be new because I would have NEVER let any of my employees act that way. I would be embarrassed if I worked there. I've never shopped at this location since I'm new in town, but I'll stick to online shopping and going to Brandon Mall.
