I had to come here for an abdominal ultrasound after my regular vet found some abnormal blood work. I had never been here before, but I was very impressed with the friendly staff, I got right in to my appointment on time, the ultrasound was done quickly and the doctor came in with the results quickly. Dr. Cook was fantastic and explained all my options. I would absolutely come back here to any other medical needs. People that complain about the pricing....these are humans running a business and it does cost money to treat animals. They were very transparent and told me pricing when I booked my appointment. No surprises and the prices were similar to all the other clinics in the area. I highly recommend them!

Let me start by saying I usually go to privately owned vet clinics rather than the corporate vets like VCA. However, this time I had a very bad experience at the highly recommended private clinic. They essentially refused to treat my cat because she got scared and reacted aggressively when they pinned her down to draw blood. Our experience at this VCA clinic in Silverdale was the complete opposite. I forewarned them that she had gotten kicked out of the other practice, and VCA staff just treated her even more kindly and gently. She reacted fearfully with them too, but they had an arsenal of techniques to manage her fear and were able to draw blood. Everyone I interacted with -- the front desk staff, the vet assistant, and Dr. Blair were wonderful, helpful, and informative. Plenty of parking, pleasant clinic space, and didn't have to wait long for an appointment.

They were amazing when I brought in my dog, he was very sick with fever and unknown illness. Staff and vets were very sweet and allowed me to visit with him, and were very communicative about his condition. They followed up via phone call after our visit and even though eventually we had to get transferred to AETC and my buddy passed, they were very thorough and I am very satisfied with the care they provided. Actually considering transferring my other dog to this location and requesting this be our primary vet. Very thankful your staff were there to support us through a difficult and stressful time.

My cat has had her routine care at the VCA for a long time. She is "spicy" at the Vet and they have always taken good care of her, despite her 'tude. I had to bring her in for an acute visit recently, and Dr. Joynt and her whole team took very good care of us.

I wish I could give you an exact price for an emergency office call, fortunately I haven't had to use ER for a long time. When you call you can definitely ask. And if you decide to take in kitty VCA has always given me a written run down on cost before I agree on certain services. I would assume VCA ER would be no different. I hope you will take kitty in at least to get the injury looked at. Good luck to both of you!

No it is dogs and cats

Do you have a strong underrstanding of feiline oral health care? My 6 month old kitten was diagnosed with "the worst mouth sores" that our vet at Poulsbo Marina had ever seen. However the answer was lots of painkillers. But the cat can't eat.

VCA in Silverdale is awesome when it comes to our four legged sons or daughters. VCA knows how to care for our pets. I reccomend VCA Silverdale. They also have a 24 hour emergency service side.. I would take your cat in now.
