The worst apartment in Seattle. The hallways stinks with garbage. They charge a ridiculous amount of money for trash valet and still the apartment stinks and has flys at the front entrance. The fetch package delivery is not as useful if you don't order online much but regardless you have to pay. The facilities like the pool/hot tub are most often in maintenance mode and can never be used when you want to. Beware of your move out charges, they will rob you every penny and will make sure you don't get your deposit money back and plus add on outrages charges for normal wear and tear.

I think these reviews are misleading. The building is not bad but is not that good either. The ceiling is very low, it needs a lot of maintenance and the corridors/ elevators are dark and smelly. I really wanted to like it but I just couldn’t. The good thing is that there is a complimentary coffee machine in the lobby so that’s nice but do ask about hidden fees such as the garbage valet and the package delivery system.

Gene was very helpful with replacing our window blinds and improving the mobility of our deck door. Gene was timely, polite, and performed his job with a professional poise appropriate for his field. Very satisfied with his service

I lived in this building for four and a half years. Griffis took over a couple of years ago, and while it was a good building before, they turned it into an amazing place to live. The apartments are beautiful, but more importantly the staff and the amenities are beyond expectations. The office staff does a great job of putting together community events, occasional grab & go breakfasts (there is also an amazing espresso machine in the main lobby) and keeping the community up to date on local happenings via a monthly calendar and the website. Hands down the best office/maintenance staff ever. I rarely had service requests, but when I did they were resolved quickly and thoroughly. The only non-completely positive thing is the noise on Western. I lived on a low floor and like to keep my windows open, so consider that if you're not a sound sleeper. It's on the truck route and the 99 off-ramp / Battery St. Tunnel spill out there. I believe most of the renovations have been completed, the common areas (not currently pictured) are AMAZING. There is also a new dog wash station and a art room. I wish I could have stayed, but my circumstances changed and living downtown was no longer convenient for me. I would recommend checking it out in person, you'll fall in love. *1/18/21 After I moved, they finally took down the viaduct and closed the Battery St tunnel, so I suspect street noise has greatly improved.

Resident here. We pay $45/month for trash valet that picks up on 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs). They don't pick up compost. In my opinion it's an unsuccessful program because they skip pick-up too often. Also, we're supposed to use bins provided by the service however most residents haven't received a bin, so people put their dripping, smelly garbage bags on the common corridor floor. The floors, including carpets, are filthy and reak to high heaven and the building rarely, if ever, washes floors/carpets.
