I have found this company to be honest. Each vehicle we own comes home working efficiently for a very long time. I like the people that work here and appreciate their committment to our efficient working vehicles.

Made an appointment to get my old Ford aligned. Darrell and the guys there were great! It's great to see an "old school" mechanics shop still around. I highly recommend that if you need alignment or repairs done that you go to Kohouts!

Will never go there again, didn't have a choice since they have a contract with discount tire. Wheel speed sensor was messed up after having new tires put on. Was told the manufacturer does not make speed sensors for my car and told no one makes aftermarket sensors either. Drove 5 minutes down the road to Orilleys auto parts and picked one up. Waste of my time, at least I get reimbursed for my part from discount tire. Don't bother

Second time here. The staff are nice and helpful. I would classify this business as more of a mom and pop than a professional service shop. At one time years ago it may have been a top shop but it hasn't seen an update, if any, in decades. The building and shop are run down and dirty and not very inviting. Egress from Husky Way could be improved. The waiting area is mostly a narrow entrance to the front desk with customers and techs walking past you all the time. The whole building layout and parking is awkward at best and does not provide good flow or customer comfort. There is a small TV on the wall and a 12 inch JVC tv/vcr combo sitting on a magazine table. For being an automotive shop there isn't a lot of auto magazines to choose from either but there are a lot of boat magazines if you are into multi-million dollar yachts. I had an appointment for an alignment that I was waiting for. They were 20 min late getting it pulled in. While I was waiting a customer came in expecting to pay 150 for some maintenance and was surprised by a bill over 600 that the shop didn't communicate to the owner. This is not a professional way to run a business. Their explanation was that service on this vehicle is expensive and that if you delay service it gets more expensive. This is throwing the cost back into the face of the customer implying it was their fault. Apparently they failed to set expectations prior to service and then failed to follow up after with proper customer service. Last time I was here for a tire rotation they couldn't figure out how to reset my TPMS and had to wait another 30 min while the tech read a manual on how to use the tool. Someone else eventually came out and did it. Random thought. Why is there a piano for sale in the waiting room? This shop could be great. It needs someone of a business minded nature to revamp the shop and provide training to the staff. Uniforms and some organization would improve customer confidence. Summary, if you want a basic shop without any other expectations of any kind then this might work for you.
