First room we were sent to smelled of stale smoke. Moved us to room 208 and it looked ok but not very clean. Floors were sticky, corners of bathroom were horrible - big black blob in one corner. There was a long strand of black hair on the toilet paper. Beds had huge dips in the muddle. But WORST - i had a bite on my hand the next am. Four hours later, I realize my itchy arm has 6 bites and my hands are covered in little bites. 24 hours later, I still have severe itching - BEDBUGS!! Room 208 - bed 2. I would like to be compensated as this has been a huge downer on vacation.

When you take a shower the water does not drain properly and you're standing in ankle deep water then it takes 5-10 minutes for the tub to drain. So it is a quick in and out shower. The handles also stick so if you turn it too far one direction you're scolding yourself or you're freezing yourself out. I called and asked the front desk if they had another room they didn't have anything they were sold out and they didn't have maintenance on site until in the morning. There was dust on the ledges of the lamps, in the corners in the bathroom by the tub, something got spilled on the floor by the toilet and looks like a water stain on the ceiling. We've stay at this hotel multiple times because we have family that lives close by. I will never stay here again my kids even ask not to stay here again. They asked to stay at the one we've stayed at before in Golden. This room is overpriced for its condition.

The front desk staff was incredibly inconsiderate. I have an 11 week old son and needed a towel and she refused to bring one to my room because their cleaning staff was to busy cleaning rooms of guests that where already gone. It was 8am and checkout is 11. Taking 3minutes out of your cleaning to help accommodate your guests should be highest priority. I won't ever return and won't recommend. The bathtub wasn't clean as well and if their so busy cleaning other rooms instead of accommodate their guests then you would think the room would be spotless. Unfortunately not the case. Highly disappointed and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Wherever your travels take you, La Quinta by Wyndham will be there to welcome you with contemporary rooms! Absolutely wonderful, the way I imagine a hotel would've been. They've done a great job combining history with modern conveniences. Be sure to visit Laura, she will take great care of you! She handled my customer service issues with ease. I know this AM system is crazy sometimes! Great Job! Laura and housekeeping were very nice & made me feel welcomed.

No. We did not pay a deposit when we stayed there. They might have limitations you might call the hotel.

I liked the hotel. The staff is so accommodating and the rooms clean. They have a complimentary continental breakfast that is served from 7:00 am till 9:00 am. I found hot coffee in the lobby all morning.
