I like this theater even though the seats are reclining. The popcorn is very good and not as crowded as the new theaters.

We went to Chanhassen Cinema to see an academy award nominated film that wasn't playing at larger theaters. We didn't have a great experience. The theater is in bad need of renovations. The seats were extremely uncomfortable to sit in through the movie's run time. The floors looked very run down. The decor was out of date, especially in the main lobby. And there was a low humming sound that played throughout the duration of the film. This will likely be the last time I see a movie here, unless some updates happen. I'd much rather go to the nearby Eden Prairie or Shakopee theaters.

Had the theater to ourselves but about 10 seats were literally broken on the ground and the popcorn was old as hell and kind of gross. 🙄

Some of the best popcorn in town! Always a low-key theater that gives you that nostalgic vibe. I like the upscale spots as well, but there's just something about Chan that I dig. Brings back great movie memories from over the years, and the prices are always fantastic!
