We have been going to Hawk's Prairie Vet Hospital for over five years and their caring and professional services are the best. Our fur babies are usually well cared for, and we know and trust the doctors and staff. But, one of the kids has a heart problem and needs a medication from a compounding pharmacy. They sent the prescription to a pharmacy in Phoenix, Arizona! We are in Olympia, WA. Searching for a compounding pharmacy closer, I found one in Olympia, and we have started using them. I decided to get his other prescription there as well. It required a written script, so last week we got it and took to the compounding pharmacy. What we did not know, they CHANGED his prescription and did not tell us. The pharmacy cannot get one ingredient. Since Hawk's Prairie had been filling this particular prescription monthly, I went back to Hawk's Prairie only to be told they cannot do that because they changed the prescription and the new ingredient is not available. We are almost out of this medicine and require it refilled. We found we could get the prescription at Costco for a reasonable price. We still like and will go to Hawk's Prairie Vet Hospital. Very friendly and helpful.

We've been taking our cats and dog to Hawk's Prairie Vet since 2015. It is the only place in the area that offers laser acupuncture, which got our dog walking again after he suffered a slipped disc. When we had to say goodbye to him in 2020 due to lymphoma, Dr. Jensen was with us every step of the way. She was so very kind and gentle. Our new puppy will definitely be going to Hawks Prairie Veterinary Hospital for all her medical care.

Best Vet ever!!! They took such amazing care of both our girls. Especially after a traumatic experience at another vet in town. They completely won our girls over! They had been so kind and gentle with my cat prior to moving out of state. I knew this would be the place to bring our furry babies as soon as we moved back. Thank you for taking such sweet kind care of our babies!

Hawks prairie vet was a very nice veterinarian place. The staff was very friendly and treated Ruby as if she was family(and that’s how we like it) we are very very much dog/animal folk and to know that our lil pup was in great care put ease in our thoughts after dropping her off for surgery! Dr Jensen and her very nice assistant were amazing!! Ruby is still healing from her cherry eye surgery but her eyes look amazing!! Thank you Dr Jensen and assistant! Thank you Hawks Prairie!!! First couple pics are an update on Ruby and her eyes a month later after her cherry eye surgery they look great!! Thank you Hawks prairie ❤️❤️

Sorry. I don't know. Years ago they provided the necessary documents for my dog to travel into Canada.

Please call us when you arrive. A member of our staff will meet you outside to transport your pet inside the building. We will bring a leash to transport your pet inside. Cats must be in a secure carrier.
Have you checked by calling the vets office first... they would be the only ones that could answer that since it is a billing question.
I would call and ask. Not every vet sees all types of animals.
They will tell you it depends on the breed, the size, the age, etc... and want to see the animal. They can't just let you buy one without prescribing first.
Call the vet. They will not see the questions on here. This is a Google site. The vet will not get notified of your question. They will be more than happy to help you over the phone.
I believe they do..
They can do allergy test my parents had it done on their dog. Unsure of the cost.
