Was recently in the area and was pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem near the main entrance!! The lady who helped my mom and I at the spice counter (and answered all our numerous questions!!) was very knowledgeable and friendly. The wonderful lady who helped us out at the counter went above and beyond when we wanted to purchase a teapot she even climbed and dug thru tons of boxes to find us the matching cups and saucer!! No pressure atmosphere and very nice spot. Will be visiting again!

Found this place on the chef guided food tour and the sample of the orange spice tea was freaking AMAZING!! Bought a bag of the loose leaf type to take home. Even with a required mask on, you can still smell the goodness when walking through the shop!

Why aren't there more locations? Please open franchises? The website is kind of awful, sorry. It's a painful experience to make an order, & shipping is expensive! But if you can pop the tab on your GOOD2GO pass & make the beautiful drive over the bridge & to the industrial sector that is Redmond, free pick-up is a pleasure (& contact-free!) They even write your name all big & fancy so it looks like a swag bag. Just make sure you email first & get confirmation. Roadtrip Bonus: the Trader Joe's over there is amazing.

The stuff knows all about the spice. Today I need pickling spice mix. Of course they have an excellent mix. I learned about pickling salt from the stuff. He was very helpful and patient to answer my endless questions. Thank you. I will come back again with my daughter next time.

Yes.
No, but I am fairly certain a shop around the corner from MarketSpice called Tenzing Momo does.
Yes. Their website makes this pretty obvious.
Hi, Yes we sure do!
Hi, Our store is not open to the public yet. You can place your order over the phone however and pick up outside our store at the table.
I recommend putting whatever you get in a plastic bag into a glass jar. And so would they.. I save old spice jars and mini masons to accomplish this.
Hey. You can go to Marketspice's website to order and have it shipped to you. https://www.marketspice.com/
It is actually called "MarketSpice Tea" and is the company's signature tea. However, a lot of people refer to it as Pike Place Tea as it is very famous in the market and Seattle! It is sweet and spicy because of the cinnamon and orange flavors added to the tea!
They have some herbal teas with licorice. They might also have some black teas with it.
The price per pound my vary in the retail store at the Pike Place Market, as the price of spices fluctuate and may not have been updates accordingly on the website.
yes, the cinnamon and orange oils that the tea bags are soaked in make them turn green. Make sure to store them in a glass jar in the freezer to keep them fresh and prevent them from drying out. You can use them right out of the freezer
Yes, if you pay the shipping!
There are all sorts of teas; some are caffeinated and others are herbal. Most don't have sugar added.
