Public defenders for cases out of Marysville. They pass you around amongst the other lawyers in the firm so you always seem to have someone new. Called every morning for over a week trying to talk to someone about my case, no answer leave message, and they never call back. Rarely even answer the phone and if they do its just a secretary or paralegal. Leave a message and you still never hear back. My lawyer actually snapped at the prosecutor when they asked if we had set a meeting saying that it was between us and not their business. Obviously more worried about their ego then their clients wellbeing. I get it they have huge case loads and it's not big money but do your job the best you can and that's doing the best for your client.

I know that this is a public defender's office but there was very minimal effort put into my case and the lawyer that I worked with was increasingly negative, despite me having a fairly easy case to win... Out of the 3 public defender's I've had, this one was my least favorite. With that said, I'm happy to have received a lawyer for free and I'm thankful that our country has this program in place.

HELLO SO IN 2013 I GOT THESE GUYS AS MY PUBLIC DEFENDERS.. I WANT TO SAY MR LEE.. TOLD ME IF I WAS IN ANY OTHER COURT BESIDES LYNNWOOD I COULD FIGHT IT.. SO I WENT TO A LAWYER PAID HIM 500 SO I COULD DEFEND MYSELF WITH THE INFO MR LEE GAVE ME... I BROUGHT UP THEY NEEDED A WARRANT TO SEARCH MY BUDDIES CAR.. THEY SAID I HAD MARIJUANA ON ME AND TRIED TO CHARGE ME WITH FELONY POSSESSION... ALONG WITH A SLEW OF OTHER CHARGES.. THEY WANTED ME TO TAKE A PLEA DEAL AT FIRST . TILL I GOT MAD AMD TOLD THEM WHAT MY LAWYER TOLD ME (THE ONE I PAID) INSTANTLY WENT TO THE PROSECUTOR AND GOT ALL CHARGES DROPPED BUT THE 1 AND THAT WAS FOR MISCONDUCT OR SOMETHING,,, DONT USE THESE GUYS THEY WONT FIGHT FOR YOU LIKE THEY SHOULD.. THEY ARE IN BED WITH THE LYNNWOOD JUDGE, PROSECUTORS, ECT ECT THE SARGENT AT THE TIME WAS REAL CLOSE WITH THEM AS WELL... BEWARE
