Been eating here for literally 36 years. Their lunch is stupendous, but their breakfast is incredible. I moved from NY to Charlotte and my first real country breakfast was here. Eggs, grits, country ham, liver mush, etc. I cant recommend it enough. The service is also outstanding.

Left central Texas at zero dark thirty flying in to Charlotte just in time for lunch at Pressley Park. So glad my sister picked the restaurant. Both our husbands had the pancake special. We each had an omelette with grits. The food was wonderful. The server brought me a sample of a Greek/Turkish Shepherd’s salad which was very tasty and so fresh.

I am so happy this restaurant is still around after 60 years.!. Every visit is a time travel to the old fashion flavors and cousin. Fresh ingredients, friendly family owned & operated. Restroom sparking clean. every time I am in the CLT area I drive extra 5mil to have breakfast/lunch there. They open at 5am which is a plus for morning guys. For less than $7 bucks you can have a healthier breakfast better than fast-footers. Aug(2021)

What an awesome place to eat. It was my first time there and the place makes you feel like your at home. Tony greeted and served us, what a delightful man. Even the other customers were friendly. The free soup with our lunch was divine!!! I would definitely stop by anytime, just for that. I love that they have daily specials and with the nice size portions (if your like me) you will have enough left over for a snack. Budget friendly, great location and lots of parking, this is the place to be for a good quick bite and friendly smile 😃
