It doesn't matter when you call, or what your calling for the front office staff is no where near compassionate and friendly . I have had wonderful experiences with the providers but I hate calling ! I'm so disappointed that this is the world we live in that it's okay to talk down to people and are very short , some are down right rude. When your in need of medical care and you don't feel well the last thing anyone wants to deal with is being treated like that. Be better humans . .

Talk about walking on the wild side and taking one's life in their own hands. Iknow it is not me...because I have spoken to many who literally hate this place. I, for one, have suffered and endured the inconsistent, sub-par care here...but never again!

Wow! So I just dislocated my knee an hour ago and thank goodness it went back into place! However I called lakefront because I am in pain and want to make sure everything is ok! I can’t afford to go to the ER! The lady answered the phone and I let her know that I just dislocated my knee which is not a simple thing! She didn’t ask me any questions! She cut me off and said we are out of appointments today and hung up! So I guess I won’t be worrying about my knee..

Providers and doctors are wonderful! I never had an issue with them, in fact they are the best part of Peacehealth. It is the M.As and receptionists that are horrendous. The M.A Amber at Lakefront is not a people person, no bed manners, and will disrupt care. If you say something or mention something that went wrong (for example not notifying you when the clinic is closed on the day of your appointment or anything dimute in nature) the workers take it personally and will verbally attack you and belittle you. In my opinion, I believe its a power trip and huge ego and they feel the need to defend themselves instead of being human and helping. I have been chronically ill for 12 years, dealing with autoimmune diseases for 19 years, had been diagnosed with a rare, deadly and serious rheumatoid disease. I am going through a grieving progress, I have my children, husband, parents, and sisters that I have to worry about. I have to stay stronge. But workers (not doctors/providers) just will it away with extraordinary disrespect, making you feel so horrible. It is horrible not having a choice (although my right as a patient) to see another md/nurse. I have been through my share of good workers and rarely the horrible ones. Never have I felt the need to publicaly display the abundance of awful patient care by the ma and receptionist. This isnt the first occassion but several. It us awful because my illnesses flare up with emotional distress. It is not fair that I have panic attacks trying to see my wonderdul doctor. I feel at odds posting this because each time recieving doctors care, I never had a problem. Its a lot of personnel before the doctor that make it my need to post this. 5 stars for doctors, 0 for the assistants and receptionist.
