Great folks that work here. It was the first time I had brought recycling there so I waited in line to speak with the attendant. He was very kind, friendly, and well-spoken. He let me know in the future, if I have recycling to turn right at the pay station and go around to the opposite side of the building, all the way to the end. Spot on. Great operation they have going here with material reclamation.

I appreciate having somewhere in town to drop off recycling and scrap metal, etc. Employees are *usually* friendly and helpful. The Recovery Zone has rerouted their recycling & garbage drop-off traffic route, and there's no signage. Today the lady at the gate gave me the wrong directions and I had to go around the block again and get back in line, which was longer than the first time. At least by then someone else was working the gate and gave me accurate directions. A minor inconvenience, but made me late to my next stop.

It was awesome! Very impressed with the city of McMinnville Helping people with their yard debris and tree branch issues. They literally have taken the worry out of the storm damage issue. Now if they could just come and clean my yard for me lol!

I know it's been a few years, so maybe something have changed, but I was shocked to see so many 1 star ratings. There are numbers in between 1 and 5 that would be more accurate and appropriate, I would think based on severity of some of the issues. In any case, maybe they were attentive to the complaints because we have been really happy with Recology since moving here 3 years ago, particularly the drop off site where they take all of our yard debris for free, and according to my husband you can get a truck load of dirt or compost for next to nothing compared with any retail store. They also have woodchips and rock. Overall very happy with our experience. My husband cut down a couple of trees yesterday (and planted new ones in a better location) so he was over there 5-6 times lately. If people don't like the home service for their recycling, I'm pretty sure you can drop that off for free, too. I appreciate not having to do that, but if you want to save a few bucks or do it later in the day, it's there. I'd reccomend wearing the kind of clothes you don't mind getting dirty, as trash of any kind may get messy.

Yes you can. I believe they charge around $10 per appliance.
On the calendar they provided to us, it states that pick-up will be one day later throughout the rest of the week after Christmas. Example: Christmas 2017 was in a Monday, so service on Monday through Friday was one day late for all groups. That means Friday service would now be on Saturday.
No
$12 a yard if you don't have a window cling for the current year.
Hi Jason, Electrical cords can be recycled with your laptop. They are open 8 to 5:30. :)
Yes 5 dollars w/rim 8
Yes pay for volume if your load $15 minimum on up depending how much you bring.
Anywhere from 6 am to 8 am. It's best to put your cans out the night before.
Yes they do.
fiberglass cannot be recycled, aluminum can but it must be separated from the other stuff like glass windows and such.
I believe you must be within McMinnville city limits for pickup service.
nooooo
You've got me there, but I think so. If you call Greenland's Recycling they would be able to let you know or redirect you to the right source.
You have to have current, residential garbage service through Recology Western Oregon and live in the city limits of McMinnville, Lafayette, Amity, Sheridan or Dayton. Please call them at 503-472-3176 to have them send you one or go down to their office to pick one up directly. Have a good day. :)
Yes you can
