This is the only place in Portland that I can drop off my sharps container with me with insulin syringes , They also don't make a big fuss when I drop off more than two containers.

I have been going there for several years prior to a visit the afternoon of June 15, 2021 and I have been extremely pleased. Evidently, my expectation for this visit was based on previous trips and that may have caused me to have such a great disappointment when my expectation was not met. I am open to being forgiving. It's just that, right now, I don't have what is needed for my very sick wife. Here is the situation. I took two very nice large sharps containers for disposal and was told that they didn't have any similar large containers with which to replace mine. The replacements given to me are very small with a "flip-it" opening that will make it difficult to easily use for disposing items that must be discarded. People who know me, typically say I see the glass half full, so I don't know why I am so disappointed in this case. I suppose it is that I gave them two great containers that were replaced by poor substitutes. It makes me wonder what happens to to my containers and others like mine. If they are sanitized and put back in service, I should have received at least one or told how to get what I need. It is my hope that this review will be helpful to the facility if there is something they can do. If I have failed to understand their situation properly, I apologize.

Horrible experience today,3/30/19 at 2pm. Not only were they shockingly rude at the hazmat station, they handed me a clipboard to sign which was covered in paint and now I have a pair of pants that have been ruined because I signed it while it was leaning on my leg! The only nice person was the lady directing traffic and the guy around the corner checking out cars as they leave the actual hazmat collection site. Unbelievable.

Quick and easy with great hours. Never too much of a wait to dump stuff off. Convenient location to Portland metro area. If you're bringing oil make sure you bring it in a disposable container... Their policy is to take the whole container. Just a heads up if you use an oil catch pan or something similar.

For residential customers, I think the answer is generally, yes they do. There are caveates, so you may wish to call ahead.
Both Metro transfer stations recycle TVs and other electronics for free, there is a limit of seven items per day per customer. Additionally, there are many places in the region that can take TVs under the Oregon Ecycles program. To find the nearest option to you, contact www.oregonmetro.gov/AskMetro.
