Let’s start with the atmosphere and service. The gentleman at the door was very warm and welcoming. It was such a pleasure to be greeted with a smile. Our waitress was very attentive and kind. The restaurant itself has a nice vibe. The food was just ok, average, but we had a great time. I’ve been spoiled by the Durham location and the taste of the food just isn’t the same.

We were able to go to Dames for breakfast. It was great. Our wait time was about 30 minutes but they moved really fast. Our waiter Desmond was awesome. It was really busy but he was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We all had the wings with the waffle and different shmears. Soooo good. I would 100% recommend stopping here if you like good food, vibes, and service. Also shoutout to the curly haired host today he was really nice.

the staff are friendly & the place itself is cute & homey. we were told it was an estimated 45min wait but it ended up only being 20! the food itself is good, though they did raise their prices a bit. the chicken is crispy & well seasoned, the grits is delicious as well as the eggs, & the waffles are sweet & fluffy. the mac n cheese is a MUST try, it’s delicious. (food description) the raymond mucho (photo 5&6): came with your choice of waffle & shmear along with eggs, grits & a chicken cutlet. the carolina cockeret (photo 4, bottom): came with your choice of waffle & side. peach-apricot shmear & ask yo mama drizzle. & three wings. the light brown leghorns (photo 4, top): came with the classic waffle, four chicken legs, chocolate hazelnut shmear & caramel cashew drizzle. shmear: (in case you didn’t know because i didn’t) is a flavored butter, i recommend the maple-pecan

So once we got past the lack of customer service from the young lady that was at the front the first time we came in to get a table everything was great. We had a 30-40 min wait and even though the young lady with us missed the text by quite some time, they still accommodated us. The chicken was amazing and waffles was very much on point!! The second young lady that acted as hostess was really and and so was out waitress!!

They move to another location and the location that they moved to is still currently being remodeled on the inside of the restaurant that's basically from what I have seen if you go to the old location you'll see the address to the new location they want you to go to the new location you will see that is still being remodeled on the inside I think they outgrown the other location and they moved to this location which is pretty much bigger than the one that they were in, so we just got to give them some time but until then go to the Cary location which I like a lot anyway because it has a family orientated vibe.
I am not sure. That's something that you will probably want to ask the place that you get the vegan waffle from because some places may add their own ingredients in them.

They take reservations. The one time I was there, they were packed & was glad to have a reservation.
