This actually happens all of the time, even in this hot sellers market. Traditional home sales contingencies are still possible as well as many fantastic loan products depending on your individual qualifications and level of risk tolerance. This is definitely not a "one answer fits all" situation. We would love to assist you to develop the best strategy to accomplish your goals.
Always!!!!!! Even in this uber sellers market (2021) Sortening the time period in our area to conduct an inspection is generally accepted. I would never advise a buyer not to conduct a home inspection without fully understanding the risks involved.
Think first impressions! When someone drives by, does your home look like one they will want to stop and see? If not, consider fresh bark, flowers..... From there, de-clutter and de-personalize the inside, touch up paint if needed. You only have one chance to make a first impression!
