Very satisfied with my experience with Van Dorm and, especially, my realtor, Paul Klenk. Paul added significant value at every step of the property review and purchase process. I found his advice essential, even invaluable. Paul is a hard-working, knowledgeable and tremendous resource to have on your side during what otherwise can be a stressful journey. With Paul, the property purchase process was straightforward and decision-making simplified. I highly recommend Paul to buyers and sellers alike.

Kylie is an amazing realtor! As a first-time home buyer, she made sure I was well informed of every aspect of the home buying process, explained every detail, checked in often, and ensured I closed in a timely manner. I couldn't recommend her enough!

Absolutely loved working with Andrew Dodds! With the market being beyond insane, he helped ease our fears and worries! From finding the right home within our budget, to negotiations once we finally put an offer in! Both my husband and I appreciate his dedication and highly recommend working with him if you find yourself in need of a realtor!

How can I sell my home and purchase another one at the same time?

Van Dorm Realty, Inc. | Apr 17, 2022
Van Dorm Realty, Inc. | Apr 17, 2022

This actually happens all of the time, even in this hot sellers market. Traditional home sales contingencies are still possible as well as many fantastic loan products depending on your individual qualifications and level of risk tolerance. This is definitely not a "one answer fits all" situation. We would love to assist you to develop the best strategy to accomplish your goals.

Should I do a home inspection?

Van Dorm Realty, Inc. | Aug 15, 2021
Van Dorm Realty, Inc. | Aug 15, 2021

Always!!!!!! Even in this uber sellers market (2021) Sortening the time period in our area to conduct an inspection is generally accepted. I would never advise a buyer not to conduct a home inspection without fully understanding the risks involved.

What are the most important things I should do to prepare my home for selling?

Think first impressions! When someone drives by, does your home look like one they will want to stop and see? If not, consider fresh bark, flowers..... From there, de-clutter and de-personalize the inside, touch up paint if needed. You only have one chance to make a first impression!

What percentage of your clients are home buyers versus home sellers?

Van Dorm Realty, Inc. | Aug 15, 2020
Van Dorm Realty, Inc. | Aug 15, 2020

A little more than half of our clients are home buyers. We have always taken great pride in promoting the properties we represent as aggressively as possible rather than just putting a sign up and waiting for things to happen. This causes us to receive many potential buyer inquires which in turns leads us to working with more home buyers than sellers.

How do you market homes for sale?

This is a question best asked in person as each property is unique and therefore often different marketing strategies and tools are needed. In short, our goal is to expose your your home to the most prospective buyers and brokers with interested clients as possible. We do this in a variety of ways using web sites, social media, print magazines, mailings....whatever we can do to cause a property to be seen by the right buyers. For a detailed consultation and marketing plan please feel free to contact us anytime.
