We have had numerous rock chip repairs from other reputable firms over the past 40 years. They have all been great until Safelite. Before they do the work they have you sign a document that says the repair is structural not cosmetic. The “repair” they did to the windshield looks no different than before. They say they can’t repair the repair so the only option is to replace the windshield. I will never use Safelite again and definitely would not recommend them to anyone.

I got my windshield replaced a couple of months ago and it was over $1,600. My husband took it in, so I didn’t see the finished product until Ithe next morning. When I got in the car, I saw there were what looked like silver squiggles all through the glass. They even sparkled when the sun shone on them. I tried to call them the next day and was directed to call their customer service number by their phone message as I couldn’t get a human to answer the phone. I repeatedly called and left messages on the 1-800 number with no call backs. Long story short, that windshield got hit and the small ding immediately started traveling across the windshield. I just called Olympia Auto Glass and the quote is less than 1/2 of what I paid through Safelite. Apparently we pay for their national advertising! STAY LOCAL!!

I had the mobile repair done to my LESS THAN ONE YEAR OLD 22 subaru outback today, may 5, 2022. I came home to find the inside of the door panel was still full of broken glass and these clowns left a nearly 3 inch long gash with a utility knife on my door panel. It was too late to call but they'll be getting an ear full from me tomorrow morning. I already notified my insurance.

They did a great job! My van was done in under an hour! The windshield is amazing and the windshield wipers are well worth the money, they're totally silent! Definitely glad we chose Safelite to replace our windshield.
