This is a local landmark. I highly recommend coming here before camping-hunting in the area. Wide section of footwear, hardware, toys and tools. Very busy all the time but the staff are very helpful and courteous. Best place in town for selection of workboots and camping gear.

Usually a positive experience, only once did I have a negative experience with a cashier when she rang up an item that was twice the cost that was listed as upstairs. I informed her if the significant price discrepancy but she just shrugged it off as an "oh well, it's x amount in the register. Rather than push it because I didn't want to hold up the line I informed her that the price needed changing so that other customers didn't get caught off guard. I just thought she was a little rude. Whether or not she got it taken care of, I have no idea.

1st time at this store. I love it! Truly a general store with everything you need. I was told they had swimsuits and much to my surprise I found a variety in my size. Found lots of interesting things. I'll be back!

Ace hardware on steroids! With White Elephant going under, the General Store has taken over as the sporting goods store In the area. Packed full of everything..( a little too packed) hard to find things on your own. Definitely talk to the people inside if you have trouble.
