Jump for Joy

I took my 5-year-old and 2-year-old to Jump For Joy on Friday, April 22, 2022. It was my first time visiting the facility. Upon walking in, I thought everything looked a little older compared to other play areas and trampoline parks in the area. I received great customer service at the admission window and paid a total of $13 for my two kids. When we walked into the main play area my initial impression was similar to when I first walked through the front doors…a little dated and dark. The attractions run the perimeter of the area with open space in the middle. Most attractions at Jump For Joy are inflatables but there is also a play structure, a basketball wall, and kid vehicles. Although I wasn’t immediately impressed, Jump For Joy started to grow on me. The facility has couches for parents to sit on while watching their children. I first thought it was kind of weird but once I sat down I thought to myself, “Hey, this isn’t bad.” The furniture is comfortable and It gives the vibe that you are watching your kids from your living room which is kind of nice. At the end of the week I was in the mood to relax and although I didn’t think that was going to happen when we were driving to Jump For Joy, it ended up happening. My kids had a great time. The inflatable slides are fast, the play structure is creative, and all the jump castles are themed. For the second half of our visit, the lights were turned down and laser lights were activated for a pretty neat cosmic experience. My daughter and son never got bored and didn’t want to leave. Jump For Joy seems a little old school and doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of some of the other play areas in Spokane but it is still fun for the kids. It also is great for adults. Not only is the admission price much lower than other places it also offers an environment that is conducive for adults to relax. We will be back.

Went with our two 2-year olds. Most of the items were a little out of their comfort zone but after one got the hang of it, she went loose. The second child, not quite as loose but still had so many items they were able to feel comfortable with and have loads of fun! The equipment was maintained.

Overall it was a good place for a birthday party! I loved that I can bring my own food and such and that’s it’s not a thing you have to purchase there. They do offer coffee type drinks,water,and snacks for sale at the counter for people wanting that. The only thing I didn’t like was that on Friday night when my party was scheduled for happened to be “laser night” where they turn the lights off and turn on disco and such. Which I’m sure the kiddos love, but my birthday was for a 2 year old and I didn’t like that I could see/or take pictures really of him playing. So next time I will make sure it’s not scheduled on a similar day and time. The actual party room was big, plenty of room for us. The fridge was dirty and had water all over in it so I had to clean it up. There’s a huge special chair in the party room for the birthday boy or girl which was pretty cool. My son loved it!

This place is our favorite! Very clean and super fun! I also love that there is a gate so kids can’t escape out the front door. My daughter is just under 2 and she loves playing with the Little Tikes cars and getting to run around in such a large space. We are planning to do her birthday party here as well!
