Great place to work

I'm just reading the reviews and the Owner's responses are highly narcissistic and shows he clearly does NOT listen to drivers who have concerns! This company must have a high turnover rate Jesus! Correct a fool he will get upset and retaliate Correct a wise man and he will thank you! Always remember that!!

Couldn’t ever get decent miles with dry van fleet, dispatch kept giving me the excuse of ‘freight shortage.’ I couldn’t make a decent living working for Roehl. I left because my mortgage lender threatened to foreclose on my house since I only made $3-400 a week most weeks and rarely over $600. They would always do their best to send me to paper mills that take their sweet time loading/ unloading their freight, and would never get my detention pay when I put in for it. Plus, most consignees would never clean the trailers so we had to do it without pay. And they had the audacity to complain about my fuel consumption while carrying 43,000 lbs of freight constantly and having to idle in 100° weather. So if you like working for free, Roehl is the place to go!!!

Yes dispatch should tell you, but there's better companies than roehl .
Go to the Roehl transport website, and get the number to talk to a recruiter.
They have their own school so you will more than one class per se. Also you'll be able to get paid while you're in class.
yes, it is a wage so taxes are taken out as the law requires.
They say 65.... But bottoms out at 63...
They do pay you while in training, and when you are with a trainer you are paid as well
No you will not pay anything. You will actually be paid to go to school with roehl and they don't train u to get a cdl they train you to be a safe and secure operator. I went through school with roehl in Conley Georgia graduated drove as a company driver for six months then went owner operator and still lease with roehl. Nothing but great things to say about them.
Hello Donald, our drivers earn based on the fleet they are in. Most of our driving teammates earn pay based on the number of miles they drive and a cents per miles based on the fleet they are in. Roehl is unique because we calculate miles based on address-to-address mileage calculations (this is even better than practical route mileage) and our new sliding mileage scale respect !)
I'm sorry, Jose. We do not.
Hi Phyllis, I suggest you review your options and consider this: Roehl has paid, on-the-job CDL training and has been training new drivers for 30 years. We're one of the safest, largest and most successful trucking companies in North America.
Roehl offers paid on-the-job training. They provide lodging and most meals. https://www.roehl.jobs/driving-jobs/cdl-truck-driving-schools/steps-to-getting-your-cdl Getting in depends on how quickly you can get your paperwork in and follow up tasks completed.
Depends do you have a CDL or needing to obtain your CDL? http://roehlrefer.me/DougCARTER
Average age of 3 years. I drive a 2016 prostar. They sell and replace trucks at 750k miles.
I only know of the one terminal in atlanta.cant remember the address since it's been awhile since I've worked for them but you can Google roehl Atlanta terminal it will give you the address.but I was told that parking was my responsibility as long as it was some where safe. Willie I took my truck home unless they have changed their policy since then.Conley doesn't have much parking so might not be a good idea.i would talk to my fleet manager.
Since when did they match 401k contributions. They do profit sharing from what I understand. I never see any employer contribution on my 401k statements.
You might have the wrong number, try the phone number on the website.
It is what it is a starter company in my view for this being my first year i cant complain ok? I know theres better companies ok. But this company has been pretty fair with me. If you listen to other people and not give this company a chance to prove there fairness you will be just like the rest of them a robot. Its too easy to give up, get upset,or judge. Compared to other starter company they keep you moving where others keep you on the same assignment no matter how long for that i give them. Yes good company to get you feet wet
120K miles, or 12 months, whichever comes first
Flatbed division does mainly 48ft flatbed as step deck trailers. There are a few oddballs here and there. The specialized guys have all kinds of weird stuff. Curtain side division pulls curtain side trailers. Mostly 48ft with a fee 53 floating around the southwest in dedicated stuff. Dry van and reefer divisions pull what you'd expect. Marshfield, WI has a bunch of oddball stuff from dump trucks to daycabs with little cranes to a tanker truck.
Depends, if you went through the CDL program you are an over the road hostage till you complete 100,000 miles!
Once you complete 6months solo otr no incidents then you can have a rider
Conley, GA Roehl Transport is a very good way to start in the trucking industry they teach the safest way. 4 weeks you should have your CDL. Great company to work for.
