Great place to stay off of I10. Easy access, fuel, full hook up, 50 amp pull thru. Very friendly people in the Saloon. $20 per night. Bargain!

On our way to Estes Park to Workamp and we made a call that we wanted to come in for one night. Lou said come on in stop at the little brown building behind the bar and steakhouse and drop in your $20. What an amazing little Park. The sites are huge and plenty of space then you have a steakhouse and saloon in front of you with a gas station to top off in the morning. Thank you Lou for a great one night stay in Balmorhea.

We stopped off here for the night. It was a great place for a night stop over. There's also a saloon there...we ate dinner. It was really good, home cooked food and the owner was very friendly.

This place is a great stop on a long trip. The sites are a nice size, and pull through sites make it easy to arrive anytime, even after dark. We just put our money in an envelope provided at the office and dropped it in the box...super easy. This was just a quick, overnight stop for us, so we didn't go to the local eatery or to the gas station, but it was nice to know it was there if we needed.
