John has been more than helpful and patient with all my crazy questions. I really like the Fly tying class he does and the morning coffee group at the shop has always been helpful. If you are from the area or are coming from out of town. This is the place to go for all your Fly Fishing needs.

Yes Ericka, we teach beginning through advanced flyfishing and casting. Classes are taught at the shop and in the field optimizing your experience. Please contact Black Heron Fly Fishing at 360-575-3970 from 10am to 6pm Tuesday to Saturday.

Yes I do have lite brite but it is packaged as Ice Wing. Do you want the short or long version.?? There is a nice summer steelhead run in Cowlitz starting in late May and June running till November. Peaks late July early august.
