We showed up with no reservation, we were greeted by an amazing person, who provided us with lodging for the night. We had a queen bed over looking the water, it was quant cozy and an amazing experience. It reminded me of my childhood days when my parents would take us up to a bungalow colony a little bit further south then here. The accommodations were amazing, the water front and the waterfalls had such an amazing sound. Breakfast in the morning was super fresh, super easy and most enjoyable. My wife and i only spent 1 night there and we enjoyed it so much, that we are going back, with a reservation, and we are flying from Miami just to go back and spend a few days enjoying nature at its finest. We had one of the best nights of our 10 day vacation driving NY state, and this place was one place that, yes, we should have stayed more then what we did. So we are going back, no more regrets in our lives. Live and enjoy, the people in the town were so friendly to add to it. Come unwind and relax at a favorite memory of mine and ours with my wife.

I loved this place. I was traveling solo for a work-related thing and needed a spot to stay one night. Very clean, accommodating, great location, and a tranquil feel. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. The only issue I had - which doesn't deserve a rating reduction for the place - was this family with next door to my room. They had a few 8-10 year-olds that insisted on running past my door in the late afternoon and early morning. Outside my room, there's a raised wooden deck connecting a whole row of rooms. So, several tall children running on it was very loud and actually shook the place. The Inn has a quiet time stated from 10pm-9am in their welcome book. This was helpful, but a suggestion I have is to put up a sign outside about common courtesy. Not to mention I can't see how running on this deck area could be a totally safe thing for kids to be doing. However, every other stitch of the place was perfect and I'd absolutely return.

What a wonderful stay indeed. My partner and I had an excellent time staying at the Woodstock Inn back in late January. Check-in was a breeze and we got text notifications about the entire process. We were there for a birthday getaway to revisit Woodstock for the first time in years. The inn's location was incredibly walkable and the grounds were quaint. I would definitely recommend this stop for anyone in the area. Wish we could've stayed longer! Thanks for making such a wonderful home-away-from home, Karen!

My boyfriend and I stayed in room 11, so we had the large tub and fireplace. It was very clean, neat and roomy and we LOVED the tub. It was unseasonably warm, so it was nice that we could turn on the light of the fireplace without the heat. Very close to shops & restaurants. We would definitely stay again.
