Starting out it was great they worked with me where incontact alot. Then when i was placed PCC they had there Aerotek recruiter that didnt know anything at all. I would ask a question or needed something i had 2 wait. When i pasted my probational period i wasnt called nor sent a text to inform me. Then their other recruiter a female was kind of rude cause i hand to change my paperwork time to a later time. Then i got laid off and they didnt help me find work. Main contact moved to another office in a different city and sent me another recruiters number. Who did nothing for me he would lie everytime i will call you back in 10mins and nothing. I would leave voicemails still nothing. I wouldnt go through this company for work. Please Aerotek hire better employees.

I worked with Aerotek to find placement two years ago. I found a contract to hire placement that allowed me to go full time with a company I would eventually move up within. During the period I was a temp, the experience was poor. The recruiter was super engaged initially and then after my interview, when I had to rely on her to be the middle man for whether I had an offer or not, she went silent and I had to call the office several times for someone else to finally tell me I had an offer and they were surprised she had not contacted me yet. The company I was placed with provided all employees with holiday pay during the major US holidays. During my temp period, I went without pay for a week over Thanksgiving while the company paid all other employees. Aerotek tried to tell me that it was on the company to determine whether they would pay temps holiday pay. When I asked the department manager who handled the department budget, she relayed that the company was paying Aerotek for temps to have holiday pay. We never saw that money and it made the holiday season financially tight. Beyond the holiday pay issue, they allow no PTO beyond state mandated sick leave and their insurance is a joke. After going full time with the company, Aerotek continued to contact me to try to persuade me into taking lower paying temp work through them. I have now asked them on three separate occasions to cease contacting me. They’ve stopped calling but will not cease emailing me. I cannot block them because a different individual emails me each time. If you do not wish to be harassed for a prolonged period of time after taking full time work, I would be wary of this agency. I have worked with other temp agencies and have never had issues with non-stop emails after ceasing “employment” with them.

As a seven year employee I feel like I have a good sense of how things run here. I submitted my resume through their site somewhat randomly during a job search in the Portland region and was surprised to get contacted a few weeks later for an informational interview. They got a sense of my abilities and interests and quickly found a position at a local government agency where I interviewed and end up getting selected. I appreciate they get back to me quickly with any questions within a day or so and I've always been paid on time. My representative has changed three times in the seven years but each has been friendly and outgoing. While they are known as a temp agency, I've had my position long term and it's been really nice. Consider giving them a call if you are hunting for a professional job. They may be looking for someone like you.

My experience started off great, however there was serious delays in communication. Interviews would sound promising and made to sound like they would be scheduled, but their slow communication probably lead the employer to find alternatives. Please be aware of Aerotek and read their reviews first before going with a recruiter. Their recruiters seem to be poor intern quality and seem to lack any motivation to help people. I’m not sure what they even do. I had one interview go well which lead me to believe this would be a great service, however the HR manager was on vacation and decided they didn’t need to hire anyone. It was a massive waste of time. In order to get in touch with anyone at Aerotek, you would have to call over and over, email, and/or message to get a response. Do not rely on them to help you. You are better off doing your own employment searches and scheduling interviews. While waiting for Aerotek to get their stuff together, I made several interviews on my own searches and had 3 job offers before they could get me the possibility of an interview. Most of their jobs listed also are very low pay. Beware!!
