If I could, I would give 0 stars. What a waste of time it has been dealing with Robert Half. I tried working with them back in Jan 2018 and got one interview at a place I had 0 experience. After that, they wanted me to check their job boards to see what interests me. Isnt it the recruiters job to help find me work? Not point me to their job board? I can find work on craigslist or indeed that wont require me to give up a % of my wages like with finding work thru Robert half. Then a few weeks ago Lacie Scott contacts me again and apologizes for not helping me find work before. Then she disappeared again without even getting me an interview anywhere. I emailed her last week and no response. Why do recruiters do this type of stuff to people? I wish I had read some of these reviews before trying to work with Robert half. Dont waste your time

Worst agency I have ever worked with to find a job. They placed me the first time really fast and then stopped caring for me through out the consulting process. Everytime I would call when I needed something they would say they are in a meeting or the person I needed was not available. Very unprofessional and not client oriented. I needed to talk to my direct contract about my assignment and I later suffered the repercussions . My direct manager on my contract left an untrue review about my performance while I was on assignment. All of my coworkers have vouched for me and my positive work ethic. I tried calling the lead manager and left him a voicemail. He never returned my call about addressing my concerns and the untrue comments about my character and work performance are on my Robert Half file. I only found out about this because one of the Recruiters I was working with in San Francisco told me that my file had negative notes on it from only one of my past supervisors. I addressed the supervisor on a private LinkedIn message asking him to call Robert Half to take down the comments which are that I’m too aggressive, argumentative and pushy with my clients. When that is not even the truth I did what was best for my clients and I feel I have been treated horribly by Robert Half. The manager never responded back to me. I never got an answer from Robert Half about what they can do about it. I even called corporate Robert Half to complain and no one ever called me or addressed my concerns. Because of these untrue notes I have not been allowed to be placed at an assignment. Recruiters no longer call or email me about relevant positions anymore in California. I moved back to the Bay Area and was really counting to have them place me somewhere. I am unhappy with this overall experience.

I give one star because they got me one really good job but other than that they have not only not been terribly helpful in finding me work but the last time they said I had a job I got a phone call and two emails telling me where to be and when. It was a last minute thing, I changed my whole schedule to be there, only to be told the woman who had contacted me three times about the position hadn't actually put me on the schedule. The woman checking people in said that was the second time that happened. Since then, I've attempted twice if not three times to be removed from this company and at the very least their email lists. I have been successfully removed from one email list. I forget her name, Janice, Theresa, whoever I had she was not the brightest. I think if you were someone who does finance and has a lot of patience they could be helpful. Otherwise...

I was contacted by Steven Gregor at Robert Half about an IT position that ended up being an amazing fit. It could have been a matter of right time and place but I attribute it to Steven's acuity and intuitive talent at finding the right candidate for the the job which is more than just meeting the jobs reqs but includes understanding the personality to work environment match. Steven also worked tirelessly to address my concerns and ensure a seamless onboarding.
